I don't like this bet.

Mr. Smith: first of all Boston has to make the playoffs, I'd say maybe 10% chance they don't even make it.

+400 isn't a great line.

I think you'd get at least +400 riding them over 3 series victories, LAA could be favored, and then facing some decent NL team like maybe Cubs ?

No reason to bet Sox this early,IMO. If it were +800, I'd say YES, but odds seem to not be any great overlay to me.

Parlaying series allows you stop at anytime, as well.

No Boston, at least at only +400 for me.
