Anyone seen the movie "Hard Candy"?

Hard Candy is a 2006 independent psychological thriller film focusing on a confrontation between a sexual predator and a 14-year-old girl he attempts to ensnare.

Just saw this last night on SHowtime ON DEMAND. What a mindfuck of a movie, I was wrapped in it from the get go. I love movies that are different then the norm and this one is definetly not the norm. Ever think those nice lil 14 year old girls were harmless? haha think again. Check it out if you like psychological thrillers. Anyone seen it ?

Yeah, it was solid. They could have cut about 20 minutes out of it and achieved the same effect but overall very good. Also some cheesy one liners which were intended to be serious but came off as funny; Ellen Page killed it other than that though.

Interesting movie and entertaining, but I absolutely hated the girl (also hated her in Juno). Her characters in both movies simply don't exist. No one talks like that. Find me a 14-year-old who talks and acts like that and I'll pay their way through college and grad school.

Same goes for her character in Juno. There's not a 16-year-old on the planet who talks like that, is that quick-witted and whatnot.

That aspect irritates the fuck outta me and makes both those movies less enjoyable. Juno was still pretty funny, though.

Fuck, finally someone who agrees with me on this. No one is that fucking witty. The movie overall was decent but her quippy bullshit ruined it for me.
