It depends on budget and what you're looking for. I got a 32" Vizio for $600 at Costco. It's only 720P instead of the full 1080 but I don't see a huge difference. For the money you can't go wrong. If your budget is higher they also have a 42" that comes in full 1080P. This is a brand that doesn't do a lot of advertising and keeps a low key. Because of this they are able to sell cheaper than many other name brands like Sony or Samsung. Read reviews, you'll see that people are happy with them. Keep in mind that these are LCD not plasma. I'm not familier with many plasmas. Good luck.

DO NOT PURCHASE A 32 INCH VIZIO, i had one for a little over a year[ factory warranty expired after 1 year] but was smart enough to purchase an extended warranty for 2 years & was able to recoup my purchase money due to the extended warranty, GOT BURN OUT ON ALMOST HALF OF THE PICTURE, i was told that a samsung 450, 32 inch lcd hd which has 10,000-1 contrast ratio was a very good buy, i am getting ready to make that purchase any day now, it runs around $675 or so , gl 2 u.
He was commenting on you buying the extended warranty, not your punctuation or grammar. Buying the extended warranty is not the smartest thing. Just another way to sucker you out of $200.
As for your "DO NOT BUY VIZIO" statement. I'm sorry that you had a bad experience but you are the exception, not the majority in this case. Review after review speaks volumes for this TV. Not to mention that I've had mine for a while with no problems. You could find people that bought brand new Cadillac's that the tranny blew the first week, doesn't mean that nobody should buy a Cadillac.
Yeah i know what money was talking about was just having some fun, sorry realestatepro i only spent $55 for an extended 2 yr.warranty & $500 for the vizio tv @ walmart where that tv is selling for $527 , also you are correct about a tranny maybe going out on the 1st week of having a new caddi, i was in the auto business for over 40 years so i am a little familiar with auto's & warranties

Extended warranties are always a bad idea. I love how they now tell you "congratulations your purchase today has qualified for an extended warranty". Is that how they got you, they made you feel like you won something. :nohead:
