Tampa Bay a 10 unit'er simply because nobody thinks they can sweep the Angels?

There might be some serious value on the Rays tonight, especially with Jered Weaver on the hill for the Halos.

playing angles like someone is "due" or they "can't" sweep is what leaves people bank rolled.

Exactly.

I'm literally shocked seeing the Rays in that position, but it makes sense: so many idiots in this world who still (3/4's of the way through the season) believe the Rays aren't legit.

Nobody seems to remember that

This team at home has taken 6 straight from Boston, 5 straight from Anahiem, and 3 straight from the Cubs. That's 14 in row from the best in baseball at home. Throw in 30 games over 500 at home and I know who my money will be on tonight AGAIN!!!!

Why is everyone chasing LAA? Do people not realize that not only does Tampa Bay have the best home record in baseball, they have the best record in baseball period. This is the third game in a row that people have pounded the Angels. I can't believe how short of a line these games have been considering that Tampa has won 71% of their home games this year and they have continued to beat the good teams. Also, them having the best record means more than just having the best record. They play in the AL East which is light years tougher than the AL West. Toronto would be in second in the AL West and likely would have a much better record and be competing with the Angels for first. Consider that they have to play Tampa, Boston, New York and even Baltimore is not bad. Same goes for Tampa. For Tampa to put up this record against those quality of teams speaks volumes. What would their record be if they were playing all those games against Texas, Seattle and Oakland? Angels are a great team but the only reason these lines have been low is because of the mis-perception that the Angels are much better than Tampa.

I wasn't sure about them until a few weeks ago when I saw them continue to beat the best teams in the AL. Then they lose two of their top hitters and keep winning. I laugh at the people who say they need to get Bonds. If you have the best record in baseball why mess with it? You take a chance on messing with your chemistry and what's working.

Exactly.

'everyone' is not chasing the angels. the guys bigbookie is writing bets for are, perhaps, simply bringing him more action on the angels. big difference. with two first place teams, youd be hard pressed to find truly lopsided action over a large sample. but within a certain group of players, of course they have tendencies. doesnt mean those tendencies are representative of a larger group (or dare i say 'public'). overall, angels are hardly getting pounded.

scoresandodds has over 70% on the Angels. Perception is that the Angels are much better, which is stupid. TB could easily win the World Series this year.

as bigbookie would tell you, his guys definitely have tendencies to play certain teams. it doesnt mean they are public or square sides. sometimes theyre one, sometimes theyre the other. sometimes theyre neither. but patterns are certainly evident. and ESPECIALLY in baseball, guys have a tendency to 'chase' certain teams, even bad ones, when they fail them the night before. it has nothing to do with 'everybody' being on a side. thats not going to happen with two first place teams and a pick line. but no doubt if a certain group gets tied to a certain team, they will chase them over the course of a few days or even a full week.

exactly otk. this is the third straight day that Bookie has posted Tampa Bay as a ten unit play. He doesn't have that many of those. People just don't believe that Tampa can continue to beat the Angels. It is rare to find people continuing the pound a road underdog and in most cases, that ends up very bad for those betting on the underdog. Public underdogs are typically a bad proposition.

reason you need to be careful with these plays is that wsx were on of the biggest plays that i've seen this year, yet he didn't need seattle.

what prodigy said is very true. your only seeing what one person needs.

believe it or not, a office that i'm familiar with needed minn today for their nuts.
