not trying to say this for shock value, but truly feel the better pitcher in on the receiving end of +200 this game. royals wiped shit all over themselves in the eighth inning last night and blew a game they had no business losing, but im taking a shot on the bounce back. kansas city has always hit the ball well against lee and this price is grossly inflated simply because lee is chasing a cy young this year. but greinke is every bit as good and, imo, better. but lee is riding a magical season and his lines reflect that.

also going to play the dodgers and rockies under the total.

im on it cuz its simply an overlay, and line keeps getting pumped. was +190 when i got into work i see +220 now

btw, both of Lee's losses this season have been in day games

Cliff lee is 7-0 at home in games he received a decision, he has started 10 and his teams record is 7-3.

Prod - I like this play strickly from a value stand point....I have started to rely even more on line movement and % than capping as it seems this time of year anything can happen. Case in point was the game between these two last night.....

I saw alot of people heavy on KC throughout the day only to get screwed around on a half inning.

Here's some value info to consider....

a) SI - Typically 71% ML does not equal $49 line move
b) Stat fox Current line -250 ...... -116 & -140
c) Csports 86%

I know you are not a big believer in this stuff, but I would rather lay a half unit on royals than lay 2.5 on indians today, to win that elusive baseball unit.

Their pen is normally a strength and they've sucked. Where's Mahay? Soria is not an 8th inning closer either.

Greinke is capable of shutting them down, for them to have any chance, he's going to have to be awesome. If he gives up more than 2, they're done IMO

actually took a small shot on kansas city alternate runline (-1.5) (+300)
pitchers duels have been few and far between in cleveland this summer. the ball simply carries too well at this time of year and the 3-2 kinds of games arent as common as they were earlier in the season. as good as the pitchers are, its reasonable to think the winning team scores 5 or 6 runs and lessens the chance for a 1 run game.

I played the UNDER in this game. Cliff Lee is nasty and I might be the only person who isn't suprised by his success.

I live by CLE, so I deal with Indians fans everyday, I told them Lee would be there best pitcher at the beginning of the year. I didn't expect them to be THIS bad, but Injuries and bullpen have killed them.
