I know we have a poker forum but I'm not sure how many people actually read it. I was wondering if anyone saw the 50k HORSE event that was shown this past week?

I've seen Scotty play on TV many times but wow, what a complete asshole he looked like in that event. From berating and cussing on TV because his beer didn't get there fast enough to acting like a complete jackass to DeMichele and Lindgren.

I thought you were supposed to get a 10 minute timeout for saying "fuck" on TV? That dude is a poor loser. He berates others when he's losing but laughs at everyone when he's winning.

That was about the sorriest display of sportsmanship I've ever seen.

I agree he was way over the top in the HORSE event, but he is usually a decent guy to be around. He has a serious drinking problem. Maybe after watching himself on TV, he will behave better.

i saw it.. just another reason i hate that game. at the local dog track more people act like him than act like brunson .

lindgren was great.. he left layne flack hanging when he went to high 5 him ..

worst possible guy to win the event after reese died.. he's not worthy of a trophy that has chip reese's name on it .

Why? It's impossible to sit at a table and act like a grownup? That's ridiculous to say the least. I'm assuming you haven't watched it yet.

Funny thing was there were a bunch of pros watching because the event was dedicated to Chip Reese. Layne Flack was running around acting like an idiot and Lindgren asked the tournament director to tell Flack to basically sit down and stfu.

When Lindgren busted out in 3rd Flack ran over to high five him and Lindgren blew him off. I'm willing to bet that Scotty lost a lot of respect among his peers after his drunken performance.

I DVR'd that event and happened to watch it for the first time last night. And you're right, Nguyen was being a total assh0le.

After getting beat he looks around and starts yelling "where's my g*ddamn cocktail!?!? This is fk'n bullsh*t!". Then he starts bitching at other players at table and making a total fool of himself on national tv.

It was the most classless behavior I've ever seen from a pro. I'm surprised they didn't penalize him. Even Hellmuth's worst tantrums weren't even close to that pathetic display.

That's what I was wondering. I've seen plenty of events where you get 10 minutes for saying fuck at the table.

You can still play the game with respect. It isn't like Scotty is some 21 year old newbie who made his first final table. It's not hard to conduct yourself like a gentleman. I'm not saying you aren't going to get upset or mad sometimes, but his act was overboard.

The WSOP should have enforced it's rules and given him a timeout.

AGREE 100 %

I think this poker boom is one of the worst things to happen in quite awhile .. Created a whole new crop of douche bags looking for their 15 minutes ..

The poker rooms are filled with guys who watch way too much tv..
