Good article calling out Philly fans

The booing of Jimmy Rollins was garbage. There were definitely fans that started to cheer louder to try and drown out the idiots booing, but in the end there were more fans booing the reigning MVP than cheering. One of the most stupid things I've ever seen in sports. The guy tells the truth and gets blasted for it. Anybody think this guy will want to re-sign with the Phillies?

It wasn't so much what Rollins said, it was the fact that he said anything like that at all.

Bat .320 and you can say what you want.

Bat .260 and keep your fucking mouth shut.

We're in a pennant race and he is sucking balls, and he then has the audacity to say that??

Well that's pretty much the point. If he was batting .320 they wouldn't be booing at all and everything would be fine. He's upset that Philly fans turn on you as soon as you start to struggle. In the article it stats that Rollins has talked to players across the league and some won't play for Philly because of the fans. They don't want their family and kids having to be apart of that environment throughout a season.

Most of the Philly fans I've encountered are some of the most ignorant, miserable pricks on Earth. I'm sure there some good ones among their fan base, but it sure seems like they're few and far between.

I don't know about ignorant and I don't know about miserable. But they are......Fuck you.

As a whole, the philly fans can be rather annoying. I'm not going to deny it. If you were subjected to 610 WIP all day you'd be an ignorant prick too. Believe dat.

Throwing batteries at JD Drew. Personally I can't stand Drew and while I have acted like a complete a hole at games about 15 years ago, certain things are unexcusable.

People get to emotionally wrapped up into sports and I know that is why we love sports, but when you are attempting to physically harm someone by throwing objects at them, that is f'n joke.
