Thanks to everyone who made the effort to make another great Bash. I hope we don't start taking these for granted. I figure I would like to personally thank some people for making this last weekend better than Christmas.

In no particular order (sorry if I have forgotten someone):

Illini
I'm glad we had a chance to go to Cheetah's together. I think I know why you liked the waitress. You and I are both Midwestern boys at heart and she looked like the girl next door.

Rob Funk
It was nice talking with you again. Sorry about almost walking past you while you were waiting for your ride outside the Golden Nugget. I just picked up my rental car and was trying to remember where all the dents and dings were in the car since I didn't have a pen.

Viejo
Old wise lizard. You are one of my favorites to be with. You are always in a good mood and have a smile on your face and you know where the best pu$$y is. Thanks for taking us out to Cheetah's. My trust in your Vegas strip club experience paid off.

Coach LT and the M&M's
Coach is one of the few that I give a bear hug to instead of a buddy hug. He is one of the persons I most want to talk with but we always seem to get separated. Coach, I would like to talk with you more the next time we meet. I never seem to talk enough with Mike and Mark either. Are you possibly going to be in Vegas again before next Bash? If so, let me buy dinner.

Dante
Dante is one of the few that I consider a real friend, not just an acquaintance that I meet once a year. He's a character who likes to joke around like me. He and I always seem to be on the same level communication-wise.

Iceman & Icewoman
Iceman is another one I didn't have a chance to talk to as much as I wanted. We did get a chance at Cafe Martorano but there was a lot of competition for conversation so maybe we can talk next time. Everyone thought your fiance was a classic beauty, meaning that she didn't need a lot of makeup to look good. But even more than that Icewoman was intelligent and could carry on a good conversation.

FairWarning
I don't know anyone whose spirit wasn't lifted by FairWarning. He was always smiling and laughing and telling good sports stories. Whenever I went to the sports bar I always hoped FairWarning would be there.

Gravy
Gravy is another pleasant person. He was always in a good mood. I had hope to speak with him a little more and ask him about pops69. Give him my regards the next time you see him.

Jake T. & his Pu$$y Posse
It was good to talk to Jake and see that he was a normal person. One of my favorite occasions of the weekend outside of the titty bars and eating food was when Green Doberman met Jake and they gave each other a big hug. These 2 trade shit more than most on this board so it was good to see that in real life all is good and appreciated. It's also nice to see beautiful college girls. Damn I love college girls.

Betallsports
Thanks for the suggestion of eating at Cafe Martorano. It's one damn good Italian restaurants. I'm glad we decided to eat there Thursday night. Thanks also for providing comic relief at the poker tournament by moving your $20 bill back and forth between the 2 finalists.

charliepeete
Thanks for being such a good sport when I got lucky with that flush on the river. I could tell you understood why I went all in with such a weak hand and I also understood that you've had experience in that spot before. Thanks also for the cigars.

Presto
Thanks for the financial talk that we had. I learned a lot from someone who doesn't need to talk much to communicate a lot.

BadCo
Most people don't know it but BadCo and I were going to put down some serious cash on the Twins/Seattle over 9 bet. Problem is, neither one of us bothered to notice that the game already had started. Sure enough, the final score was 9-3.

GreenDoberman
Another guy I consider a friend, not just an acquaintance on a message board. This guy and I seem to enjoy the same things and can communicate on the same level. Sorry for being a bogart with that black chick at the Rhino. I should have known you would have wanted some of that chocolate sweetness.

BillyHoyle
Thanks for being a good sport at the poker table. I didn't get a chance to talk to you as much as I had hoped at the Bash. Too many good people to talk to. At least we had a little chance to talk.

8ate
We didn't have too much interference with each other at the final poker table. I'm glad I didn't knock you out this year and you didn't do too much damage to me either.

Dsethi
Another person I consider a friend, not just an acquaintance. I like hanging out with Dsethi because he and I don't have to think of what to talk about next. It's just like we lived in the same town our whole lives and knew each other. We talked mostly about what a wuss SkinsRaj was. LOL! Being with Dsethi makes me feel young again as I remember all the energy I had when I was his age.

georgejefferson
George is a classy guy. He really is easy to talk to and has a sense of humor most can't figure out. I'm glad you had a chance to go out to Firefly with us.

MaxSquat
Thanks for being the mostly-hearing person out of your duo. Last year it was Calvin's girlfriend who could translate when I couldn't remember the sign language Calvin was saying. At least we had his laptop at the Bash so I could type in "Free Porn!!!!!!!".

CalvinTy
Thanks for taking the time to show up a week before your wedding. We tried to get you to go out to the titty bars with us for your bachelor party but I guess you had to take a flight. Calvin and I ended up at the 2nd-to-last table in the poker tournament and had a good time "talking" there.

PornoPaul and his girlfriend
Thanks again for the limo ride and the cover charge at the Rhino. Thanks to your special lady for letting us watch the Rhino girl give her a dance. It was the best one I saw all weekend! What I really also enjoyed was how you explained how you financed your business and got things going and also for how you explained how the girls were without bullshitting me.

goodcall
I really felt a connection with you as you are doing something I would really love to do. It sounds like a lot of work programming stuff but if it's doing something you like and will pay dividends in the future then it must be worth all that effort. I would like to talk to you another time about some angles we can get in sports.

Akillies
Akillies was one of the first guys I met at the GN Bash in 2005 and I have search him out every Bash since then. I hope he isn't tired of me. I guess he's not since he and I and Mr. Leisure went out to hit the tables on Monday. I hope I helped you win. Let's hang out and go out to eat again.

Mr. Leisure
Mr. Leisure and Akillies and I kind of hung out together a lot this last weekend. Most of you don't know that Mr. L. and I live about 15 miles from each other. He and I plan on getting together during the year. It was his idea that we have another meeting of RX people in Vegas during the football season.

Judge Wapner
Judge and I have hung out a couple times now outside the Bash. The problem with this guy is that he never lets me pay. How much do I owe you for the night at the Rhino, Judge? When you paid for my dinner in CR you said I could pay when you came to the US. Now let me pay MFer!

Coaster
Coaster and I are dinner buddies. We both enjoy food a lot. You couldn't tell it because Coaster isn't fat. I think Coaster and I have the same sense of humor (or humour as he would type it). I have resolved to visit Vancouver in the summer of 2009. I've always meant to but have always put it off. I hope you're up for some dinner when I get there.

D2bets
We waited for D2bets before going to dinner Thursday night and he made it just in the nick of time. He saw someone's RX shirt outside the hotel and joined us there. I'm glad you had a chance to make it. D2bets also joined us at Cheetahs. For being such a reserved guy he sure enjoyed himself while there.

RickA
Everytime I meet Rick he has a smile on his face for me and always has kind words to say. I hope he continues to participate in Bashes in the future. Thanks for all the hard work you've done to ensure we all had a good time.

sharky99
Most people don't know it but sharky99 and I are friends in real life. We call each other on the phone a couple times a week. I'm glad we both made it to the final table at the poker tournament. I know very few people who are as sharp as sharky99, especially in the CFL. I believe he has won money 8 years in a row in that league.

JoeGaffney
For those of you who don't know Joe, introduce yourself and strap yourself in because you're in for a ride. The only word I can use to describe this guy is "character" as in "this guy is a real character" and I mean that in the best possible way. Joe and I also have the same kind of humor. He and I were cutting up for over an hour at the end of the Bash. Joe is also one of the sharpest guys I know, especially in NFL. I hope he wins the Hilton contest this year again. I plan on following his picks.

Revon
Revon is another sharp guy. He is so sharp his picks can be found on another forum. He's a real professional handicapper. I enjoyed talking with him about how he makes his picks. Revon was at the same table at the poker tournament when I got AA twice. He remarked "what do you have, superglue on your hands??" LOL!

Wilheim
Last but certainly not least, Wilheim. Thanks again for all the hard work you put into this Bash. People don't know 1/10th of the effort you put forth for this to go off flawlessly. It was an honor to listen to your story in Doberman's car on the way to eat on Thursday night. I'm real sorry about cutting into your steak. I thought you had heard the waiter say it would be family style so I was going to cut it up so everyone could enjoy. Can I buy you a steak at the next Bash???? Please???

I guess I can tell the truth now that the Bash is over.

When I met Jake I was still drunk from the night before and I saw his purty earrings and thought he was one of the strippers from the Rhino. Otherwise, I would have kicked him in the nuts. That is, if he even has any.

I kept an eye out on your brother for you. The problem is, I'm an enabler. I helped him get into all sorts of trouble.

:nohead:

Maybe you can make it out in a couple months when we meet up in Vegas again.

I enjoyed meeting you too.

Sounds good about throwing a few back.

Were you at any of Green Doberman's tables? For those who weren't there GD was hung over from the night before. He was drinking coffee at the poker tournament!! All he was saying was "I'm going to go all in so I can get out soon and go home and go to bed". Sad enough to say that he finished 3rd and didn't get the sleep he was looking for. The guy is an animal though.

Actually I doubled up through Billy on the 2nd or 3rd hand when my AJ held up against his A10. I think we both would have been better off had he won the hand.

Great meeting you QL. My only regret is not knocking Doberman out of the poker tourney.

On a side note, I'm pretty sure he tried to go in for the kiss during that hug...

QL,

You are all class, my friend. Thanks for buying me a replacement beer.

:lolBIG:

Even though I subscribe to the Trust of the Brotherhood of the Titty Bars so that I don't tell what happens, I think it's safe to explain this one. The titty bar waitress drops a Bud Light in front of me without me knowing (I was distracted). It was one of Illini's beers. It looked like my old beer. What the hell, I can't tell a new beer from an old one.

So I proceed to take a sip and notice that it's full and cold. I say WTF??? It turns out it was one of Illini's beers. I tell him "I only took one sip, do you want it?" Illini says "No thanks, you might have AIDS from all those hookers"!

:ohno:

:missingte

So I proceed to drink it and bought him a couple more.

QL, always nice to exchange Bear Hugs with you. I plan on attending the CR Bash and we can swap stories. Probably will not be in Vegas until the next Bash. A kind and gentle man with a mission to help others. QL, thanks for being my friend over these last 5 years. Onward and upward and it is finally time to Krack some Nutts in CFB. See ya soon. :toast::party: LT
