I like the Mets as well. John Maine has an 0.63 era in his
last 14 innings pitched. Hou starter Backe is 1-2, 12.94 in
his last 3 (16 IP).

Also really like the RSox with John Lester going.
13 SO in his last 21 IP, 0.61 era in two
career games against Jays.

Does this bother anybody?
NYM: RHP John Maine (10-7, 3.82 ERA)
Maine's sore shoulder is likely to limit him to about 100 pitches per start. And pitching coach Dan Warthen says Maine's fastball likely will be compromised for the rest of the season. Maine has pitched five innings in each of his last two starts and has exceeded five once in six starts. He hasn't faced the Astros this season.

Maine's limits are a concern.
The Mets pen is rested, but they struggle holding leads.
On the plus side, the Astroes have been pressing lately. They left
9 runners on base yesterday and have been averaging 2.9 runs in
their past 7 games.
