i can just imagine the pull he will get for duke recruiting wise after the us wins the gold. i think too much publicity for a college coach. who knows though.

this reminds me of the same type of talk when he was doing visa commercials or some shit like that, if you play basketball and looking for a school, their is a good chance you know coack K and duke

If Duke excepted anyone in he would have the #1 recruiting class year in and year out. It's not like he needs publicity.

Why is a college coach coaching a team full of professionals? Wouldn't an NBA coach be more suited for this job???

things have changed at duke. one of their top recruits for next year is not capable of doing the acedemic work at duke.
he had to leave the public school systemn down here because he couldn't pass tha FCAT exam.
he was then not accepted into two private schools because he couldn't pass the entrance exam.
so lets not put duke up there as someone who only accepts the good students.

10 years ago i worked at five-star camp in pittsburgh. coach K would show up and say i want you, you and you. it's not like that anymore, he no longer gets whoever he wants.

agree.. i think duke has dropped a notch..

i would actually be surprised to see them win another title during his reign.
