6.5 is WAY too high for Haren/Peavy tonight

Well we know the total can't be 6 or under because that would be too low and everyone would take over. But does anyone else agree 6.5 is a bit too high for this game? I know the juice is for the under but I cannot see how both teams score 3 runs each.

This year Dbacks with Webb came to San Diego against Peavy. Dbacks won 2-1. I think the total was also 6.5 or 7 not sure.

I cannot see this game going OVER 4 runs. The reason is b/c of friendly Petco. Both pitchers will pitch great. Peavy versus Haren at Dbacks about a week ago we saw 10 runs real quick for the easy over when everyone was on the under. However, that game was in AZ. Petco Park changes the dynamics of everything.

Actually i see under 6 on 5dimes for +120 but they dont offer 5.5. Most likely b/c thast number is way too low.

Peavy is very good at Petco but who isn't. Thats why his ERA is so low.

Dbacks cannot hit at Petco and we all know Padres cant hit at Petco. I think the 1st run will be scored in the 6th inning.

Are you sure? i thought most people are on the OVER.

I recall seeing 6.5 about 3 times this year. Twice it was with Peavy versus Haren and versus Webb. Not sure if Webb it was 7 or 6.5. Other time it was Roy Halladay versus Lackey. So 2 overs and 1 under.

Guys under is very strong tonight b/c of Petco field. Peavy is great at Petco but anywhere else he is pretty much average.

Not I, Haren has been Gar-Bauge this month. 1 of these pitchers is going to give up some runs and one of these bullpens will cash in the Over. Depending on any late line movement, Im on the Over for a bundle.

Good call. I posted this last night but you knew this game had a good chance to go under just by the line. Same match up last week and they scored 14 runs and they come back with the same exact pitching matchup and the same exact total?

Considering these two pitched against each other last week in Arizona and both got hit good early, I think the u6.5 was asking for people to pound the over. 6.5 is asking to walk on shells.

Was very drunk when I posted. Anyhow just elaborate better next time because when you say stuff like "everyone and their mother on under" when in fact 65% of public was on over, could lead to people betting on over. It's all good sir.
