How much leash do they give Joe Girardi

When does he get on the hot seat?
I know he wont go anywhere this season no matter how bad it goes, but you are starting to see signs of the honeymoon ending.

Hank dont know shit about baseball. I think he is going to be a hard ass just like his dad.

Don't give me injuries as an excuse. Every team deals with injuries. Posada wasn't even that good when he was in, so that wasn't a big loss. Wang was huge though, but so was Wells being hurt for most the season for Toronto and Hill and Rolen and Marcum and McGowan..it happens to every team. Toronto has had it worse than NY and they don't have the payroll to work around it. Boston has had Ortiz, Ellsbury, Beckett and JD Drew. TB has had their ace, best hitter/fielder and their closer hurt.

With that said Girardi is a great manager and shouldn't go anywhere. They had no reason to get rid of Torre (possibly the best manager there is IMO) and they'd be stupid to get rid of this Joe too.

Take out their salaries, and the yankees still have far and away the biggest payroll in baseball. Signing Posada was a bad move. Joba throws hard but his arm can't take it. That was obvious.

What makes him so great?
Is it the way the players go to the mat for him, because they don't like they did for Torre.
Even though you don't hear it, some of the veterans just don't like him.
