Lester has dominated the Yankees in two starts this season, compiling a 1.13 ERA while winning both. He tossed a shutout at Yankee Stadium on July 3, limiting the Yankees to five hits and two walks while striking out eight in Boston's 7-0 victory. The left-hander, though, is now trying to bounce back from his worst start of the season. Lester lasted a career-low 2 1-3 innings in Saturday's 11-0 loss to Toronto, allowing a career high-tying seven earned runs with eight hits and two walks.

aren't all sox backers. i had 2units on the RL that morning. ever since the break, he's been very consistent, has gone 7+ innings during the stretch before the bump in toronto ... the last time lester pitched in NY, he got a shutout on 7/3 and went the distance again last month with 9-2 win. boston is a good underdog play.

I'm with the Jon "fuck cancer" Lester.

I just couldn't pass up on taking Boston as a dog. Plus the morale in NY is way low. I think they kick 'em while they're down.

Jon lost last outing because Toronto now playing their best. Beside that he got upset with the ball called in strike zone that later scored on him (i think it was 2 r HR by Rios) then he went down hill.
