playing philly (-1.5) (+360)

i dont care if the wind is blowing in a 50 miles an hour. and if chicago wins 5-2, ill gladly take the loss. id play this line with kendrick or moyer if i had to. with blanton, im getting a mid-rotation pitcher and silly odds. way too many crazy things happen in wrigley to make a 7-inning pitcher (harden) worth this kind of price. ill play alternate runlines all day with good teams before ill take long-shot moneyline stabs on teams like pittsburgh and washington at (+360) when theyre totally overmatched.

het prod--I took philly to win at plus 250-- I am convinced the valure here is appropiate to make this play--hoping harden may even come down toearth a bit today--everyone loses once in a while and the phills are capable of putting up runs against the best--gl today:103631605

Interested in your reasoning for taking the alrenative rl over the ml. Is it because you feel philly have a tendency to either win big or lose big? I must also say I'm surprised someone as savvy as yourself isn't able to get a better number; no pinny or matchbook account?

Good luck today.

Harden is a 7 inning pitcher? If he was, he would be the best pitcher in baseball.

He normally pitchers 5-6 innings really.

I am taking Philly on the ML for the same reasons. Philly may get beat, but they currently a contender with something to play for. IMO many of these lines are insane last couple of weeks. On Philly as well, gl to us Prod, hope they win by 5.

I would normally be all over this, but I cannot lay -1.5 vs a pitcher who has given up more than one run once since coming to Chicago. The weather is very humid, the ball should jump. It is also very hard for me to fade a team that is 51-19 at home.

5-Dimes is offering this price right now.

I parlayed Cubs with Temple ML -115. I do like the over a little bit. Pretty muggy out.
