Boston is 18-8 since picking up Jason Bay, who along with Pedroia have been a real going concern in the middle of the Boston line up. New aquisition Mark Kotsay is off to a great start also.

Note: The last Red Sox player before Pedroia did it tonight and last night with four or more hits in consecutive games was Wade Boggs on June 8 and 10, 1989. …
