Degenerate Diary: A day in the life of GD

3am- I wake up and head to the TV to catch up on the late scores as I retired early last night. College football is a bit hit and miss, but I taped the nascar nationwide race and was pleasantly surprised to find I swept all 3 bets including a nice wager on Kyle Busch to win at +350.
Despite that success, I finish the day well in the negative at -$524.10. Poor soccer and tennis results and a mediocre start to college football don't help matters.

4-5am Spend an hour or so scouring the net for info, capping games, and charting a plan for the bets for the day. Should be a fairly busy day today with lots of soccer, tennis, baseball, and auto racing action.

Put in my first bets of the day as I tail one of our better soccer handicappers, Chriscol, on his German 2nd Bundesliga action. Games kickoff at 5am and I get them in just under the wire.

5:15 am- Need to get in some more soccer bets before early kickoffs. It's opening weekend in Italy and there are a few Serie A bets I like.

I went to bed early and woke up early to get down on the early stuff. Passed on going out and getting drunk with some friends as I wanted to be sharper and focused after a losing day yesterday.

Just got back from what is my normal Sunday morning routine. I go out for breakfast and coffee, grab a Sunday paper, and drive around a neighborhood or two looking at houses. Saw some really nice ones in a neighborhood just around the corner from me that I had never noticed before.

Driving around Vegas at 5 or 6 in the morning on Sunday is really about the only time I enjoy driving in this town. Peaceful with the sun coming up and not to much smog on the horizon.

Placed a few more bets in baseball and soccer and looked up the finals. Starting the day off at 1-3 so far, hope that is not a trend.

4 out of 5 in Italy. Really should have won the over in the Roma/Napoli game, but then should have lost the Chievo outright so it is a wash.
