Not sure how full the wagon is yet, but I'm on it now.

I wish Iowa had 3/4th the QB.........the Hawkeyes would probably go undefeated.

Looking back on it, it's amazing that Iowa completely shutdown this Illini offense last year.

This year will not be the same.

Funny, after just reading the thread title I thought to myself "how is he going to work Iowa into this thread?".

Bam, like clockwork.

Dallas Clark 4 life.

Can we play six degrees of separation between Juice Williams and Dustin Pedroia now?:ohno:

He is still a baby in terms of harnessing his ability. But he has NFL qualities for sure. I think he will be a very high draft choice when he comes out. Good size, runs well, strong arm. Still a project though. McNabb very high on him.

Good size, are you joking? McNabb likes him because he is from Chitown as well.

Please define draft choice- 7th Round?

Andre Woodson is Dan Marino compared to him and he was just cut by the Giants. The only way Juice is playing in the NFL is at RB.

Juice is a great kid with a great attitude. Very likeable and a great teammate. He is not a good quarterback, though. Since he's already a junior, I can't see that he's ever going to develop into a good player.

Juice Williams a high draft pick? I agree he outplayed Daniels, but he will be lucky to be drafted at all as a QB. If anything a team will take a chance on him in the last round as a WR or RB.

Iowa will beat Illinois this year too. The Hawkeyes will finish the year 8-4 or 9-3.

Outplayed Daniel? What am I reading in this thread? Two homer Illini fans that went to the game were not impressed, but the rest of the board thinks he was great. I don't get it. Must be some chemically altered minds on this Labor Day weekend.

Missouri won because of Maclin and their running game, not because of Chase Daniels. Daniels was average in that game, so by saying Juice outplayed him I'm not saying he looked like Peyton Manning out there. He just played an above average game against a very bad defense. Bad QB's do that sometimes.

It's Daniel. And he's the best QB in the nation. Juice didn't outplay him. My name is Illini, and I went to the game, so you can be sure that Juice didn't sniff Daniel's jock, let alone outplay him.

Well, it's hard to portray 451 yards and 5 TD passes as a bad game. He had just an awful start to the game, but after the first couple drives he was mostly very very good IMO. He has a lot to work on but I think he has a lot to work with too.

I could be wrong, won't be the first or last time, but I think he has a chance to play QB at the next level.

Most of his yards were gifts by a weak secondary. And several of those throws should have been touchdowns, but he overthrew them, and they had to lay out to catch them. He's terrible, D2. I know it's hard to see it on TV, but being at the game and seeing the routes develop that weren't on the TV screen.......you see just how weak he is at reading the defense. He throws to the wrong guy most of the time. He's got a cannon and he runs well, but he still has a ton of improving to do before I would even call him good. I love the kid and hope that he develops, but it's getting late in his career.

Give me Tebow, Bradford, Stafford, Sanchez, Riley and McCoy over Daniels anyday. Hell, I might even prefer Harrell, Harper and Grothe over Daniels. He's a good QB, but not near the top IMO.

McCoy? LMAO. Might as well throw in John Parker Wilson while you're at it.

Right, he's going to keep getting better at reading defenses and making plays. He has the size, runs well and has a big arm and I think can show touch too. It's just a matter of putting it all together. It won't happen overnight. But it's the kind of a project with a big payoff that NFL teams often take. He has the prototype body and athleticism.

I would like to hope you're right, but I just don't think he has it in him. This is his third year in the system, and he's started that whole time. He's no longer inexperienced. I think he's gonna show flashes, like the Ohio St game last year. But unfortunately, I think he's gonna turn out to be a Chris Rix.
