the announcers kept saying usually official scorers mark it an error and then later in the game (once the team gets some more hits) they will changes it.... it clearly was not a hit, CC just botched it
very interesting feeling by the team - very excited he pitched so well and they are playing good baseball - and everyones post game interviews were pissed off.
