I was watching the Cub game yesterday and home plate was in the shadows, and the mound wasn't. The announcers were talking about how today's game the majority of it will be the same at this time of day.. the shadows will be messing with the hitters eyes quite a bit. With Marquis and Oswalt on the mound I am leaning under. Any thoughts/input on this one fellas ? :103631605

Total only 8.5, thought it might be 9. Do books know about the shadows as well, and how much if any will they play a role in this?

I'm not counting on the shadows alone, I am wondering how much do they effect the hitters though. I do like the pitchers, and the Cubs/Stros bats haven't exactly been on fire as of late.. and with a total of 8.5 I am liking my under even more.

I was a catcher for many years, shadows are pitchers friends and hitters nemesis, depending on where the shadows are in relation to the plate.

thx bill, pretty much the shadows will be covering the home plate and hitter. The pitchers mound will be in the sun.
