1st and 3rd one out looks like a tee ball hitter swinging at 2 curve balls.. Then top of 8th leadoff double and this douche bag strikes out again.. Of course Carlos takes care of him.. Come on bullpen please dont blow it today.

Ya, over 100 runs batted in for the fourth straight year and you focus on two at bats .... get real.

I believe what you have witnessed here is a case of "the bitch and wins"

How hard to you hit NYM sportscenter?

the guys stats are padded in meaningless games, everyone kills AROD for the same performance.

well I am a huge mets fan myself and had a very big play on the mets today.

I think he has a valid point.

David is really really off right now, regardless of the overall numbers he has put up. All those RBI's and stuff are great, and much needed. But it is the little things that if you have watched almost every game this season, and especially 2nd half you notice...

he has been really struggling in the big spot getting timely hits. And even with less than 2 outs and runners on 3rd he is striking out, I knew he was gonna strike out today in that spot. It wouldn't piss me off as much if he looked good up there, but he is pulling his head off the ball in spots where he just needs to make contact.

It hasn't hurt them so far, but when they get into the playoffs, they are gonna need a big hit or two out of him or they will get bounced.

He needs to take some notes from Daniel Murphy, that kid knows how to have a real major league at bat every time.

Since the all star break he is batting 316....8 hrs 30 rbi`s

Batting .320 with a man on 3rd and .346 with men on 1st and 3rd

Well I wouldn't say I am "bashing" david wright. Just some honest critiquing from a fan.

I didn't mention a couple things, I still think Wright has amazing raw talent, and he is one of my favorite players I have ever seen put on a Mets uniform.

I wear his jersey all the time... its just like a father that wants to see his son use his full potential. He can be so much better and I hope he does get better.

He even says it himself in interviews, hes got to work on getting runners in with less than 2 outs
