Anyone experiencing slowness on the Bet Jamaica Web Site??

Ever since they went down for a while a couple of weeks ago, it takes forever for their pages to load. Sometimes I have to hit refresh a couple of times. It always seems to be the page after I hit Straight Bets is the worst, but even after I have selected the sport, it is either slow or won't come up at all.

I have tried emptying cache, and I have experienced the same thing on the www. betjm.com and the mirror1.betjamaica.com sites in addition to the regular www.betjamaica.com site. I have tried all the tricks I know to use.

Does anyone have a suggestion?

Kind of a longshot, but it's worth a try.

Close all your IE windows

Go to Start, Run and type cmd

In that window type ipconfig /flushdns and hit enter.

Thats a little scary for someone who doesn't know what that means. Could you just help a little more by explaining please

Frog what brower are you using.i use betjam more than the rest of the outs here and found it work best with firefox 3..........ck

I use IE7 and have had no problems at Olympic or any other sites other than BetJamaica.

I have both and it just my opinion here but firefox3 is a lot better than ie7.try firefox and see if it work faster.gl.ck

TTinCO-Please help a little by explaining your suggestion as I am reluctant to enter something on a command line if I have no idea what I am doing.

How would I delete it if it didn't help? I hate to sound skeptical but you can understand why I am a little afraid to do something I don't understand.

Frog, just follow it step by step.

I've never seen running that command ever cause anyone problems. You can trust me on that one.

Thanks TTinCO. I tried it and it is still slow, but does seem a little quicker. I appreciate the help.

If anybody else has any ideas, please let me know.
