This is the dodgers pivotal point of the season. They swept the team they are chasing and get to follow that up with a series with the 2nd worst team in baseball then face the team they are chasing again then play that same struggling team all over again. This is where they can make biggest impact on whether or not they will make the playoffs. Kershaw is talented but not performing well. He went 2-0 with a 1.45 era over 5 games after he faced the lowly nats. The padres who are hitting just .235 vs lefties, could ignite another run from the southpaw. Through all the ups and downs Kershaw has been strong at home all season posting a 2.86 era in 8 home games. With the dodgers out of their slump I dont think the padres stand a chance.

Lester hasnt lost to these guys his entire career. Cant really see why today would be the first. O's have lost 11 out of the last 13. They dont have their closer or their 3 baseman. Liz has been killed by the redsox and the redsox are hot at the moment. With the yanks playing the rays Redsox will be looking for a sweep. They can either close in on the rays or solidify the wild card. Redsox hardly lose at home and theres no fucking way they lose today. This game is so perfect Im afraid to do the runline so I wont.
