So, will the missing/deleted posts/threads ever be restored?

If not, wouldn't it be a good idea to back up the files on a daily basis, say 4am when activity is at low peak?

ya i think my post count was about 50 off and several threads lost. you would think that would be done a normal basis? not that it's a big deal....

From what I understand, those posts are lost forever. Our hosting site is supposed to have everything backed up to the current day but for some reason did not. Steps are being taken to make sure this does not happen again.

This is a big business, and as an I/T professional I was just wondering why 3 days of files were not backed up.

I don't worry about 3* wagers, or message boards.

I do worry about my mortgage payments, employment, health, my dogs and my wife.
That I worry about.

I was raising a 100 percent legit question.

you could be like the bully and lost 3 or 4 hundred post....just think of the knowledge that was lost there..

and if it was to me I'm on the same page as you are!! I find it ridicoulus if anyone really is offended by a once in a lifetime error, at least while I've been in the RX this has never been a problem

I'm loyal to this site, I was just wondering out loud how 72 plus hours are lost.

And yeah, 99.9% of the time, page loads are lightning quick here, and down time is minimal, if not non-existant.
