I noticed a couple things when the forums came back up.

1. Since I had enabled PMs within the last few days, when I logged
back in today PMs were disabled for me. So, if someone else also
enabled PMs within the last few days, they should check to see
that they are still enabled.

2. The PMs that were sent and received in the day or two before
the forums went down were lost.

You are correct. Anything posted, sent, received or changed(settings) between 5:30 AM Eastern and when the server came back up this afternoon was lost.
