I will always be a Bengals fan, but if this is the effort they give then I am done wasting my Sundays watching them. I will be adopting a new team to follow so maybe I can actually enjoy Sundays again.

My requirements for such team is they have to be a fun team to watch and can't have their bandwagon full which gets rid of the next closest NFL team the Colts.

I have currently narrowed it down to 4 unless another team that maybe I looked over jumps out.

Jets- I can't help it, I like Favre and like watching him play, dude has a f'n cannon for being as old as he is.

Bears- I have always liked good defensive teams and they seem to focus on defense

Cowboys- America's team, although I don't know if I can back a team with TO and "dont call me pacman" jones

Saints- Whats not to like, exciting offensive team who's defense is getting better

Lions. Bengals fans can relate with the no-defensive types. Millen makes Mike Brown look good too.

:ohno: If I wanted to deal with an owner who clearly does not get it, I'd stick with Mike Brown and all of his sucktude

Since i can't edit my post, ill toss this in here as well. Some of you may know I sell NFL jersey, so I have to factor that in as well. Right now off the top of my head i'd be leaning Favre- Jets, Urlacher- Bears, Witten- Cowboys, Ellis- Saints

I actually just had a guy order a cooley and a campbell, slick jersey but not down with the team

Cowboys are a huge bandwagon team. Saints are terrible, Bears are okay, and the Jets are terrible. I personally couldn't cheer for any but the Bears. Get a Briggs jersey too. He's the best player on that team, offense or defense.

Jets will be a playoff team and you won't be a bandwagoner too much since the team hasn't won lately. Get a Cotchery jersey booyah.

If I went Jets I might go with Gholston

Jets will not come close to making the playoffs and Cotchery is a middle tier WR at best. Gholston is the player I would get if I got a Jets jersey, but nobody on that team really impresses me.

You cannot just jump ship...what a fake fan...part of being a fan is fighting through hard times....

How do you think I feel being a Syracuse Football fan????

Do you think I'm gonna wake up one day and say hmmmm...IM gonna start cheering for LSU or USC....I'm disgraced as a fan of sports

Agreed. I still root for almost all of the teams I rooted for when I was little no matter how bad they are.

49ers in football. Ouch.
Knicks in basketball. Double ouch.
Yankees and A's in baseball. Kind of ouch.

Only one I have changed is rooting for Boise St as my main college football team. #1, I live in Boise. #2, I went there. #3, the Miami Hurricanes went kinda high on the conviction rate there... hard to like em although I still root for them.

Wrong on all accounts, believe me, you do not know pain until you are a bengal fan. Its not even really the Bengals per se, its the F'n Owner who has to be the worst owner of any professional sport. I can't imagine someone worse and that includes owners that move their team, I wouldn't wish this on any other city (and at this point, who'd take em). I will always be a fan of the "Bengals", but I refuse to put another dollar into Mike Browns pocket and wish to enjoy my Sundays again. Don't even get me started on the resigning Chris Henry.

College sports are different, its not run by a "owner" who can single handily destroy a program, sure you have crappy coaches but their is always hope, their is none when you are stuck with Mike Brown.

The Reds are almost as bad lately, but I have faith in the owner and support them as they rebuild, I don't ask for much, but after 18 years which pretty much encompasses my adult life, this team will not get another penny directly from me.

So in other words, go F yourself
