....and Boston is a perfect 7-0 vs. the Rays in Boston this year.

Of course there is always the "but"......

Kazmir and Dice hooked up this year in Tampa (July 2nd) and the Rays prevailed 7-6 with Kaz giving up 7 hits, 4 BB, 4 runs (all earned) in 5 full. "But" Kaz has pitched extremly well of late, coming in with an ERA of 1.56 and teeny WHIP of 1.039. Dice is pitching well also, and I'm not inclined to lay a big number on a game that could go either way.

I know Boston is at home and Sox bats are "en fuego" with an avg. of 7 RPG in the last 7, while Tampa is only averaging 3 RPG in the last 7...."but" knowing Dice has a habit of putting people on the pass paths and the fact the Kazmir can shut down opponents at times, I'd need a smaller lay to get into my bankroll for this game. I have this game capped at Bos -125.

....with that said, I feel Sox will win this one, but I won't have a dog in this fight.

Good Luck on your action...

I'm not betting this one, I just thought people who would be tempted to take Tampa here should at least be aware of this. Tampa is a lot better this year, but Boston is also very strong at home this year, so this stat makes me think Tampa is not such a great bet.
