Myers as a favorite of minus 150 or less 1-10. He's a nut case and will explode in the pressure sitaution today.

The marlins are loose and swinging the bats again & little ricky is a beast!

Marlins 3* +135

nice to see big bookie needs the marlins too.

also play the Pads +153 late Lowe is a joke OTR he is 0-3 and as the pitcher of record in San Deigo in his career. Kinda helps that we have Derryl Cousins BHP. go friars!

marlins are mostly righty facing myers , withe xception of jacobs and hermida.

Nolasco is righty facing a phils team that crushes righties, especially at home.

Ever heard of gregg dobbs and stairs hitting over 400 since joining phillies?

baseball capping is alot more than laughing at a starting pitcher. The numbers show that a right handed pitcher is gonna havesuccess againts the marlins more often than not here, and a righty will struggle vs the phillies more often than not....thus the line.

im glad to see there are people like u foaming at the mouth on this one, i felt like philly was extremely public play today, so i didnt udnerstand why its down to -140 now....glad tos ee there are some florida backers out there, justifying the line drop..So phils feels less and less like trap

iw as going to bring this up. Also considered adding as well how Myers "cracked under pressure last Friday night in shea stadium vs the first place mets when he went 8 scoreless and allowed 3 hits......but i didnt wanna confuse powerz with facts.

he also dominated the lefties which surprised me.

Thanks Zeke.....

I looked at this game in depth, some of your points are a bit off the mark here,

61% on the phillies and the line has dropped 7 points....

Myers has allowed 23 hits in his last 3 starts - Against the Mets, dodgers and Cubs those are all good left hand hitting clubs.

Nolasco actually has a lower whip than Myers and better stats - all over the place road, overall, last 3.

and to top it off you have a team in the spoiler roll getting money....

This line should be -120 to -130 tremendous value in the Fish

Should be a dandy

BOL with your plays

myers isnt facing nolasco, hes facing the marlins righties, who are facing him.

Nolasco is facing the phils hitters, who are predominantly lefthanded, this was my point....so comparing the 2 starters WHIPS, means nothing to me.

Myers gave up 3 hits to the mets, in 8 innings....change that stat anyway u like....u said hed crack under pressure today at home as a -144 fave.....i simply pointed out, this game is nothing pressure wise compared to what hefaced lastfriday. hes gone deep into many of his games recently so i guess if u go back 3 starts, 23 hits is possible. How many runs did he give up in those games?

Are dallas macpherson and paul lodcua the infrequently playing bench players u hoped tos ee in this game? And do u honestly think after yesterdays 18 run game, that your have an advantage on the road with the worse bullpen of the 2? And yes, your closer is a righty, and so is the phillies. Problem is, phils have 5-6 guys that can crush gregg in the late innings, and hes wild. Lidge is lights out, and hes got righty/righty advanatage.

Im all for playing a hunch, but dont try and make it seem like the line is off, or myers is gonna choke. Its possible, but its just as possible in any other game, today is no different.

And my comment about public money was, i had no idea where the moneyw as, and i handt checked...i figured philly was, but never confirmed....60 % doesnt seem overwhelmin backing, when u consider a -140 fave should win more often than not.

I think the choke factor with Myers has really diminished since his re-call from the minors. He's been terrific since being recalled and his last game, a win in New York vs. the Mets, was one of the best of his career.

o wait, i realized, u went back only 3 games......

why not mention the 9 hits he gave up 4 games ago?

OOOOOOOOOOOOOO.....is it becs myers only tossed a complete game shutout 4 games ago?

lol....3 games ago, yes he gave up 9 hits to the dodgers, thatw as also a 7-0 9 hit shutout, which he went 7 deep in.

hes also struck out no less than 8 guys since i cant remember, and has had as many as 10 in some of those games.

I'm on the Phillies with you Zeke as I noted the lefties vs a right handed pitcher as my main reason for going with the play. I have trusted Myers a lot lately but how in the hell do you let the pitcher Nolasco get a hit off you in a key spot?? I can't watch the game so maybe it was a fluke hit but damn!! I still have faith though the Phils lineup is nasty.
