Update Regarding Recent Website Technical Difficulties,

The Rx.com Tech Support Team have been working on the forums since early Saturday morning trying to resolve some serious technical difficulties and with the help of VBulletin we have identified a unique type of DOS attack.

We are unclear if the DOS attack contributed to the database crash we had on Saturday, or if it came after we put up the new database. But either way we are working with our hosting company and VBulletin to put an end to the attack.

We have had all of our resources active on this issue, and will continue to do so. We know how frustrating this is for all of you and we really appreciate your patience and understanding.

We have not received any extortion demands from anyone. Naturally we have some suspects but are not going to mention names until we are 100% sure who is behind these attacks.

There is also a possibility that someone is punishing The Rx.com because of our relationship to a current or former sponsor. The internet is full of vindictive people and while I do not personally have any proof I would not be surprised at all if these attacks are the work of someone bent on punishing one of our past or present sponsors for some imagined misdeed but are using The Rx.com to get some kind of revenge second hand by attacking The Rx.com.

TheRx.com is not a sportsbook and will never pay any kind of ransom to get DOS attackers to cease this illegal and downright vindictive activity. There is no financial reward coming to the culprits in the end here, all they are doing is disappointing a large amount of Offshore players (many who probably send them their hard earned money) by continuing to carry on these very ignorant DOS attacks.

Hopefully soon we will be able to create a situation that will immunize this site from further attacks.

Rx Tech Support is working with VBulletin to identify the attackers. Should I find out who it is beyond a doubt and am given permission to post the names of whoever is doing this, I definitely will.

that's about what I thought. It has to be somebody that knows computers very well, and also knows they won't get money from RX over it. I don't think J-man is capable of it.

Thks for the update..There is plenty to do besides post on a forum..but I am glad The RX is back..
