Live webcam of Galveston shows storm surge

There's a commercial that lasts 15 seconds and then the video buffers. After that you should be able to see the waves battering the coast.

Live webcam from a Galveston Hotel. Right now I'm seeing this huge wall cloud over the city.

Looks like that camera has lost power.

The web site that hosts that camera said that there could be 25 foot waves.

for Galveston the devastation might be as bad as katrina but the majority of the island is evacuated.

inland this is going to be tough but not scary tough.. more annoying tough.
