Has any sports scene ever been this bad in the history of sports?

I'm hurting up in the pacific northwest homies. Let's review:

- Seahawks are 0-2 now after a bad home loss to the Niners.
- Mariners are arguably the biggest undearchievers in baseball this year
- Sonics get hijacked and stolen from us by a douchebag (after the worst season in Sonics history)
- UW is 0-3 after suffering the worst home loss to anyone since 1929 (which I'm personally ok with)
- My Cougs have yet to even take the field after getting blown out in their first 3 games to start 0-3

There is no way in hell a city has EVER seen that kind of shit before.

Talk to the people in Cleveland. When was the last time any of their teams won a championship? 1950?

I feel your pain because I am originally from our nations capital, around the Baltimore /Washington DC area. Home of the the nationals, the orioles, the ravens, the redskins, the wizards, tons of awful college teams in tons of sports[excluding lacrosse and womens field hockey]. We did have a brief playoff team in the capitals, the hockey team.A normally bad team though.

I agree though, losing at home to the the 49ers and a few Mariners home games is a lot of misery for a region to take.

You need to go to an orioles home game to cheer you up. Dismal

Unfortunately, UW has lost to three ranked teams and probably isn't a terrible team whereas the Cougs have their worst team since I've been a fan (1976).

And to think you gave me shit for criticizing Hasselbeck and your team at the beginning of the year...I know you have injuries, but so does everyone else...no excuse for losing to SF at home...

When the Seahawks lost the Superbowl and having moved up here from the S.F. Bay Area I told my dad that I guess it's something I have to get used to as there has been only one championship here, what 79 Sonics.

Not that I'm a big Seahawks fan but I pull for them but still love my 9ers as had season tickets for 18 years.

I remember pulling an old ticket stub out of an old jacket and the price was $12.50.

Addicts all upset now but he'll get used to it as he gets older........LOL

The Seahawks have been regular playoff contenders for the past few years and even played in the Super Bowl, the Sonics were in the playoffs regularly in the 90s, UW football was good not too long ago, and Wazzou basketball has had a great past two years. It could be a lot worse. Quit your motherfucking whining.
