rinity Euless TX 2-0 1 @ Allen
A trendy upset pick did not materialize as the Trojans flexed their muscle in a 37-14 pasting of a very good Cedar Hill team. Another battle at No. 33 Allen awaits.

2 Armwood Seffner FL 3-0 2 @ Brandon
The Hawks put up 52 points against Wharton following only 9 against Plant, more of a product of opponent than marked improvement. Defense is the key to this team.

3 Byrnes Duncan SC 3-0 5 vs Lincoln (Fla.)
The 62-0 score against Greer (SC) is very indicative to how the game went for the Rebels. They are ready for the matchup against Lincoln (Fla.) this weekend.

4 Bastrop Bastrop LA 1-0 6 vs Richwood
Darren Anderson looked pretty solid at quarterback for Bastrop. Another solid perfomance and the Rams may be able to move Rueben Randle back to wide receiver.

5 St. Thomas Aquinas Ft Lauderdale FL 2-0 7 vs Everglades
Aquinas took advantage of the bye week by sitting back and moving up two spots in the rankings. They get back into action against Everglades this week.

6 Gateway Monroeville Pa 3-0 8 vs Penn Trafford
Gateway is proving many critics wrong in the early going by smashing all of their opponents. With this weeks 42-0 shutout of Latrobe the Gators average win is 48-8.

7 Plano Plano TX 3-0 9 @ Temple
The Wildcats took care of business in a big way with a 41-28 win over Hebron. This week they play at Temple, the middle game of a three game road trip.

8 Poly Long Beach CA 1-0 10 @ Newport Harbor
Poly hammered Miami Northwestern 29-7 to open the season and have been off for two weeks since.

9 De La Salle Concord CA 1-0 4 @ Loyola
Stock Falling The Spartans came back for a 29-28 win this week, but looked a little small across the line against Serra.

10 Lowndes Valdosta GA 3-0 13 vs Colquitt County
Lowndes cracks the Top Ten with a 30-0 shutout of Ware County. Back-to-back battles with Northside Warner Robins and Valdosta looms.

11 Oscar Smith Chesapeake VA 3-0 11 vs Great Bridge
The Tigers owned another opponent - Indian River- this week to the tune of 46-14. The Tigers have scored at least 43 points in all three games.

12 North Shore (Galena Park ) Houston TX 2-0 12 @ La Marque
Hurricane Ike caused the the matchup with Cypress Falls to be canceled.

13 Deerfield Beach Deerfield Bch FL 2-0 14 @ Dillard
The Bucks got the win 21-14 over Ely, but it did not come without some effort. We stil think they can be the best in 6A this season.

14 Apopka Apopka FL 2-0 16 @ South Panola
The Blue Darters looks like they are sharp and ready to battle South Panola next week. It will be a measuring stick game for both teams.

15 St. Xavier Cincinnati OH 3-1 24 @ Trinity (Ky.)
Stock Rising With QB Luke Massa the Bombers are 3-0, and playing like the St. X team that started the season in the Top 10. Their grueling schedule continues next week with another battle against a RivalsHigh 100 member - No. 71 Trinity (Ky.).

16 South Panola Batesville MS 3-0 17 vs Apopka
The nations longest winning streak continues against Grenada 40-2. All eyes will be on Batesville when No. 14 Apopka comes to town this week.

17 Centennial Corona CA 1-0 18 @ Mater Dei
Taylor Martinez passed for 210 yards and 3 touchdowns, leading Corona Centennial to a season-opening 26-16 win at Chaparral. They must prepare for Matt Barkley and No. 26 Mater Dei this week.

18 Edison Fresno CA 2-0 19 @ Central
Edison won a fist fight with Dominguez this week 8-6 showing they have the toughness many have questioned.

19 Timpview Provo UT 3-0 20 @ Payson
Timpview was on a bye this week which may help rest the defense that will have to lead the team. They head to the road to take on Payson.
'
20 Pahokee Pahokee FL 2-1 25 @ Palm Beach Lakes
Pahokee is back into the Top 20 in the country following their 40-7 victory this week. The anticipation continues to build for the clash with Byrnes (SC).

21 Colerain Cincinnati OH 4-0 22 @ Sycamore
Colerain showed Princeton what it takes to compete in Cincinnati with a 42-27 win. Colerain tangles with Sycamore this weekend.
22 Stone Bridge Ashburn VA 3-0 23 @ Loudoun Valley
A 63-0 score usually tells the tale, and in this case it does. Marshall did not have the horses in this matchup we will see if Loudoun Valley does.
23 Phoebus Hampton VA 3-0 39 @ Warwick
Stock Rising The Phantoms may be the best team in the East following another shutout victory in Virginia. Shawne Alston has 14 carries for 115 yards, and three touchdowns.
24 Lakeland Lakeland FL 2-0 38 @ Winter Haven
Stock Rising The Dreadnaughts have been one of the most impressive teams in the early going. This week they fumbled the opening kickoff, held South Dade to a field goal and then didn't allow Dade another scoring chance all night. Even the second teamers looked impressive in the 40-3 win.
25 Skyline Issaquah WA 2-0 31 vs Lake Washington
Skyline cracks the Top 25 with a 55-6 victory over Ballard. They stay home for a showdown with Lake Washington.
26 Mater Dei Santa Ana CA 2-0 26 vs Corona Centennial
Matt Barkley had 231 yards and 2 TDs at the half, and continued to pile it on as Mater Dei dominated Cypress 49-7.
27 Glenville Academic Campus Cleveland OH 4-0 21 @ South
The Tarblooders have one more road game before they get to have homecooking the rest of the way.
28 Prattville Prattville AL 2-1 27 @ Wetumpka
The Lions defense has been roaring with back to back shutouts. A combined 58-0 since opening play in Alabama.
29 Carroll Southlake TX 2-0 40 @ Mesquite
Hurricane Ike caused the cancelation of the Bellaire game - that is probably good news for Bellaire. The Dragons are 2-0 and using physical defense to do it. They have outsocerd opponents 79-17 in two games. They need to be ready to tangle with Flower Mound and North Shore.
30 Don Bosco Prep Ramsey NJ 0-1 3 @ Valley Forge Military
Stock Falling The Iron Men did not look like they were ready for the speed of live action in their first game against St. X (Ohio). They are still a top program in the country despite the loss.
31 St. Xavier Louisville KY 3-0 30 @ Male
The battles to control Louisville begin this week with Male, followed by Manual and then No. 71 Trinity.
32 Plant Tampa FL 2-1 31 vs Middleton
What a relief it must have been not to see Armwood line up against you. Aaron Murray and crew got back to lighting up the scoreboard 49-7 against Gaither.
33 Allen Allen TX 3-0 32 @ Trinity
Well the time has come, No. 1 Euless Trinity is coming to town and Allen can make a huge statement with a victory.
34 Mission Viejo Mission Viejo CA 2-0 35 @ La Costa Canyon
Mission Viejo got back to action this week with a 58-20 win over Redondo on the road. Another road game at La Costa Canyon before they get to play in front of the home crowd.
35 Los Alamitos Los Alamitos CA 1-0 36 vs Freemont
The Griffins opened the year with a 24-3 victory. They just need to keep winning before showdowns with Huntington Beach Edison and Esperanza.
36 Crespi Encino CA 2-0 37 @ Servite
Crespi looked much better on both sides of the ball dominating Birmingham 31-0. Bryan Bennett threw three touchdowns and showed godo accuracy. The defense also looked much better forcing three turnovers and limiting an 85-percent De'Von Flournoy.
37 Our Lady Of Good Counsel Wheaton Md 2-0 43 @ St. Peter's Prep (NJ)
Led by Jelani Jenkins the Falcons have been flying high this season averaging 42-6 victories to open the season.
38 Northside School Warner Robins GA 3-0 37 @ Valdosta
Stock Rising The Eagles won a battle with Carver-Columbus this week 7-6. They will play host to Valdosta this week in a Peach State showdown.
39 Montgomery Bell Academy Nashville TN 4-0 34 @ Pope John Paul II
MBA has not been playing inspiring football with another nailbiter win against Hillsboro.
40 West Monroe West Monroe LA 1-0 41 vs Byrd
West Monroe has some things to prove in Louisiana this season, and they started off in the right direction with a 43-0 victory over Huntington.
41 St. Ignatius Cleveland OH 3-1 40 @ Washington - 9/26
Stock Rising St. Ignatius took it to Mentor 28-14 this week and made a huge jump in the poll. They still have La Salle and St. Xavier on the schedule.
42 Madison Madison FL 1-0 66 vs Suwanee
Stock Rising We sure wish we could have seen Madison play Independence (NC) but if the Cowboys keep hanging half-a-hundred on opponents it will be hard to keep them out of the Top 50.
43 Skyline Dallas TX 3-0 50 vs Plano East
A huge win this week over Arlington Bowie solidfies the spot for Skyline. Back to back home games with Plano East and Highlands would make for a great 4-0 record if they can get the wins.
44 Maryville Maryville TN 4-0 48 vs Powell
Different week same story, Maryville dominated another East Tennessee team beating Heritage 38-7.
45 South Pointe Rock Hill SC 3-0 68 @ Fort Mill
Stock Rising In their first measuring stick game the Stallions ran all over Clover, on the road, for a 35-7 victory.
46 Camden County Kingsland GA 3-0 NR @ Windsor Forrest
Camden rolled up 386 yards on the ground, including 187 from senior back Greg Baker in the 44-16 win over Hoover (AL).
47 Lake Travis Austin TX 3-0 46 vs Evangel Christian (La.)
Lake Travis continues to win by beating Cedar Park 35-21. They take on traditional power Evangel Christian (LA) this week.
48 Centennial Peoria AZ 2-0 82 @ Rincon
Stock Rising The Coyotes move up to the top spot in Arizona with a convincing victory over Hamilton. They head to the road against Rincon this week.
49 Wayne County Waynesboro MS 3-0 NR @ Starkville
The War Eagles dominated Meridian this weekend and may be the best team in Mississippi. The last team to beat South Panola makes a serious jump into the Top 50.
50 Hamilton Chandler AZ 2-1 15 @ Centennial
Stock Falling The state of Arizona continues to confuse us with Hamilton losing to Centennial 35-16. After three nationally ranked opponenets to start the season the Huskies have to be excited to get Red Mountain... right?
51 Thomas Jefferson Jefferson Hills PA 2-1 44 @ Ringgold
The Jaguars continued to dominate their AAA opponents beating Trinity 40-0. They head home for their first game in front of their crowd when they play Ringgold this week.
52 Union Tulsa OK 1-1 54 vs Jenks
Union recovered from a surprising loss to Broken Arrow by winning the Backyard Bowl against Jenks 24-17.
53 Desert Vista Phoenix AZ 1-1 45 @ Chandler
Stock Falling Desert Vista was able to shake off an opening season loss by beating Mesa 49-0.
54 Northwestern Miami FL 2-1 51 @ Booker T. Washington
Despite the 28-14 win we are not sold on Northwestern. A fierce rivalry is on the horizon as the Bulls are set to take on No. 84 Booker T. Washington this week.
55 Central Catholic Pittsburgh PA 2-1 52 @ Upper St. Clair
Well we saw early that the Vikings were not up to the task of taking on Lakeland (FL) we will see if they are deserving of this current ranking in the next three weeks against Upper St. Clair, Woodland Hills, and Penn Hills.
56 Quince Orchard North Potomac MD 2-0 53 @ Damascus
After barely sneaking by Wooton in the first game of the season it looks like the Cougars got it back together in their 25-6 win.
57 O'Dea Seattle WA 2-0 55 @ West Seattle - 9/19
O'Dea - who may have the most talent in Washington - defeated Central British Columbia 41-14 to keep pace with the other top teams in the state.
58 Edison Huntington Beach CA 2-0 57 @ Dana Hills
The Chargers made the scoreboard operator earn their keep last weekend with a 42 point second quarter en route to a 63-8 victory. They were off this week and play Dana Hills on the 19th.
59 Central Pickerington OH 4-0 64 @ Pickerington North
Pickerington Central has given up a total of 6 points in four games. Averaging a 29 to 2 win through four games is very impressive.
60 Buford Buford GA 3-0 59 @ Decatur
Buford looked very good (again) in winning 41-0 against Lovett. They have scored over 40 each week this season.
61 Westfield Houston TX 1-0 67 @ Memorial
Hurrican Ike shut down most of the Houston area games. The Mustangs are back in action next week against Memorial.
62 The Woodlands The Woodlands Tx 2-0 NR @ Kingwood
The Woodlands made two early season statements with back to back shutouts of Cy Fair and Katy. Their game this week was canceled.
63 Bear Creek Lakewood CO 3-0 61 vs Ponoma
Bear Creek may be a risk pick at No. 63, especially with very talented teams in Colorado, but we like the talent they have on the field - and that they just keep winning.
64 Chamberlain Tampa FL 2-0 NR @ Hillsborough
The Chiefs will go as far as Dontae Aycock will take them. So far it is into the Top 100 - winning 5A may get them higher.
65 Columbus Miami FL 2-0 NR @ Southridge
After seeing the Explorers dominate Palmetto last week, and beat Carol City this week we think Columbus may be the best team in Miami this year.
66 East Grand Rapids Grand Rapids MI 3-0 70 @ Reeths-Puffer
East Grand Rapids looked good back at home with a 21-7 victory. We still aren't sold this is the best team in Michigan, but we do know the West has been better than the East in the early going.
67 Upland Upland CA 2-0 71 @ Serrano
The Scots are starting to make more believers outside of the Inland Valley following a nice redemption win over Glendora. Josh Nunes was 17-for-29 for 286 yards and two touchdowns in the contest.
68 St. Louis Honolulu HI 3-0 NR @ Kamehameha
Traditional power St. Louis dominated Punahou 40-19 and re-asserted themselves as the team to beat in Hawaii.
69 Olive Branch Olive Branch MS 2-1 68 @ Treadwell
Olive Branch got back to the winning ways in a big gut check game for the Counquistadors. A 61-20 thrashing of Tradwell may have been just what they needed to get the disappointing loss last week out of their mouth.
70 Coldwater Coldwater OH 4-0 63 @ Anna
Coldwater keeps winning convincingly, however the quality of wins do raise some doubts. An undefeated season will keep them in the 100 though.
71 Trinity Louisville KY 2-0 70 vs St. Xavier (Ohio)
Trinity will get a chance to prove they are ready to take the next step by going out of state to battle No. 15 St. Xavier (Ohio).
72 Permian Odessa TX 3-0 71 @ Amarillo
Are the Mojo really back? So far so good with another victory for the Panthers.
73 St. Bonaventure Ventura CA 2-0 77 @ Jordan
St. Bonaventure is lead by uber-talented player in five-star athlete Patrick Hall. They still have to play Poly and Crespi back to back.
74 Servite Anaheim CA 2-0 81 @ Crespi
The Friars do not have a long list of superstar players but they get the job done. They will need to play a complete game against No. 36 Crespi this week.
75 Oaks Christian Westlake Village CA 2-0 NR @ Diamond Ranch
The high profile Lions make their debut in the RivalsHigh 100 at No. 75. Most likely they will stay there until they take on Oxnard Santa Clara.
76 McKeesport Mckeesport PA 2-1 84 @ Erie McDowell
It looks like the Tigers are putting the loss to Colerain far in their rearview mirror demolishing another WPIAL opponent, Connellsville, 67-7.
77 Brophy Prep Phoenix AZ 2-1 87 @ Salpointe Catholic
Brophy flashed some offense this week following a shutout loss last week, but how much to take of a 45-13 win over a questionable at best Horizon team.
78 Cairo Cairo GA 2-0 77 @ Munre (Fla.)
The Syrupmakers escaped with a 10-7 win over Thomasville. Lead by Angelo Pace - who threw for 129 yards and rushed for 76 more - Cairo stays in the Top 100.
79 Destrehan Destrehan LA 0-0 78 @ Terrebonne
Destrehan made an impressive run in 2007 and ended the year 15-0 with the 5A state championship. However, in 2008 they must deal with the loss of many of their top players. They return only five starters on offense. Fortunately, four of the returners are on the offensive line.
80 Saguaro Scottsdale AZ 2-0 65 vs Agua Fria
Going for a three peat in 4AI Arizona sees Saguaro stay in the national ranking, but slips behind the three 5A powers from Arizona.
81 McGill Toolen Mobile AL 4-0 89 @ Daphne
The Yellowjackets look primed to make another run at 6A finals following a 38-13 win on the road.
82 Bellevue Bellevue WA 2-0 100 @ California
Stock Rising Bellevue beat a top Washington team in Bothell 38-19 and they get a good bump in the ranking. They play a big game this weekend at Qwest Field.
83 Eden Prairie Eden Prairie MN 3-0 78 vs Lakeview North
Eden Prairie demolished the competition 42-14. They just run the ball down peoples throats and pass when needed, it has been the winning ticket for years, so why change it.
84 Booker T. Washington Miami FL 1-2 76 @ Northwestern
Stock Falling The Tornadoes are walking a very fine line for the national rankings. They were down 19 points before coming back to tie the game and eventually beat Central 44-39. The loser of the Miami Northwestern game will not be on this list next week.
85 Carmel Carmel IN 4-0 83 @ Lawrence North
Carmel used a much better defensive performance to regain their form with a 48-0 beating of South Vigo.
86 Muskegon Muskegon MI 3-0 90 @ Grand Haven
With the offense Muskegon has the Big Red may be the best team in Michigan. Another high scoring game as they beat West Ottawa 49-14.
87 Alta Sandy UT 4-0 86 @ Grant (Calif.)
Alta has been able to overcome a lot of key losses to graduation in the early going, and posting back to back shutouts may mean they have hit their stride. A battle to stay in the rankings awaits as they take on No. 93 Grant (Calif.).
88 Booker T. Washington Tulsa OK 2-0 88 vs Broken Arrow
Okay, it is now time to prove yourself. A 46-21 win over East Central is nice, but Broken Arrow is another animal all together.
89 Har-Ber Springdale AR 2-0 91 @ Coweta (Okla.)
The Wildcats show off the offense again with a 48-10 pasting of Alma. They will play host to out of state opponent Coweta (Okla.).
90 Mayfield Las Cruces NM 3-0 97 @ Cibola
Mayfield made an easy game of it against Carlsbad this week being up 42-0 at the half.
91 Independence Charlotte NC 2-0 94 vs Vance
Independence has a combined production of 96-3 in two games. Missing that Madison (Fla.) game is still something we are upset about.
92 Wayzata Plymouth MN 3-0 95 @ Apple Valley
The Trojans are now 3-0 and just hung 63 points on Robbinsdale Armstrong. They may take over the top spot in Minnesota next week.
93 Grant Sacramento CA 2-0 96 @ Alta (Utah)
Grant has the chance this week to prove they belong in the RivalsHigh 100 discussion against No. 87 Alta (Utah).
94 Maine South Park Ridge IL 2-0 98 @ Glenbrook North
The Hawks will play the Glenbrook North game on Monday because of flooding.
95 Arrowhead Hartland WI 3-0 99 @ West
A common theme in this week is back to back shutouts, which the Warhawks did this week as well with a 45-0 beating of Mukwonago.
96 Punahou Honolulu HI 3-1 28 @ St. Louis
Stock Falling Punahou fell hard in a 40-19 drubbing at the hands of traditional Hawaiian power, St. Louis.
97 Stony Point Round Rock TX 2-1 29 vs Westwood
Stock Falling We were nervous about the high ranking given to Stony Point this season and it came to bite us in a sloppy 9-3 loss at Waco this week.
98 St. Rita Chicago IL 3-0 NR @ Mt. Carmel
Mt. Carmel's surprising and disappointing loss made this move at least a week early. St. Rita earned a 45-6 win over Leo this weekend but may lose their spot in the Top 100 if they fall to the Caravan next week.
99 Jenks Jenks OK 1-1 58 @ Owasso
Stock Falling Jenks dropped a tough 24-17 decision to Union in the Backyard Bowl. They are so talented it is hard to drop them all the way out of the rankings at this point.
100 Rockhurst Kansas City MO 2-1 60 vs Mullen (CO)
The Hawklets lost an overtime game to Blue Springs this week 28-21. However with wins over Blue Springs South and Hutchinson they have enough on the resume to cling to the last spot in the 100. A loss to Mullen (CO) this week will have Rockhurst on the outside looking in however.

And I Thought You Said They Were Good

That would be Long Beach Poly your referring to? Cal Poly is a college on the Central Coast of California. They just recently beat SD State, and boasts alumni featuring John Madden, Chuck Liddell, and member of pop/ rap group The Timex Social Club who were one hit wanders with an 80's song called Rumours.

do I see 0 NY teams in there...hmmmmm maybe thats why syracuse is where they are

The teams in my region are nowhere near as talented as teams from CA, FL, TX & such. This is especially true at the skill positions. The best programs if talking just this region are usually in New Jersey like Don Bosco Prep for instance.

I dont think people realize how many teams SoCal feeds. You got 30 players a year to Boise, 20 per Pac 10 team, except UCLA and SC where its about 60, 20 per Mountain West team, 30 per Wac team, then go around the country and find qbs, 2 at Ohio U via Socla juco for example.

60 per yr at usc and ucla? a roster of 240?

flor feeds flor, fsu, miami, fiu, fau, geo, aub, alab, ncst, wvir, rutgers and many, many more.

you have one good program out there and they are as illegal as all the mexicans running around out there.

<HR style="COLOR: #fdde82" SIZE=1><!-- / icon and title --><!-- message -->I dont think people realize how many teams SoCal feeds. You got 30 players a year to Boise, 20 per Pac 10 team, except UCLA and SC where its about 60, 20 per Mountain West team, 30 per Wac team, then go around the country and find qbs, 2 at Ohio U via Socla juco for example.
