Curious what your thoughts are on the Cleveland/Boston matchup tomorrow night. Of course it's Cliff Lee vs. Wakefield.

Leaning heavily to Cleveland here. Not all that familiar with Cleveland's success vs. Wakefield but numbers show they fared well in the last matchup vs. the knuckleballer.

Cleveland's really shown up late in the season making a push to finish over .500.

lee:
The left-hander is 2-3 with a 4.91 ERA in seven starts against Boston, which had 12 hits but stranded 12 runners Monday.

Boston sends Tim Wakefield (9-11, 4.18) to the mound after he allowed six runs and six hits in 2 1-3 innings of a 10-3 loss at Tampa Bay on Wednesday for his third defeat in four games.

9-7 with a 4.50 ERA in 19 starts against Cleveland.

really like the way cle has been playing, along with bos skidding

Thanks for the stats.

I don't think Boston has had the displeasure of going up against the 2008 version of Cliff Lee, which has been re-goddamn-diculous.

And you're right: Cleveland on a surge.

After looking at this game quite a bit I'm playing Cleveland -110 at Bookmaker. 2 units.

Also leaning toward KC tonight. Thinking Cabrera is out of the Tigs. Line moving in KC's direction.

Thanks, FairWairing. Pretty hard to bet against the Twins in the Dome. Good luck tonight.

Thanks. The White Sox have talked about this series for a couple of weeks because of their struggles. Would love to take the over too since both bullpens are horrible too, but I have been playing Minny and under in the first game of a home series. Seems teams struggle with the lighting the first game.
