5TPARLAY and BILLSFAN, I've just sent you an email.

Other locals...If you want to be included in a stubhub group purchase for Game 2, please contact me via PrivateMessage here at the Rx.

Looking right now at upper deck and current pricing at Stubhub is about $70 each. Will make the buy mid day on Sunday once we confirm the date of Game 2.

The Rays have received some national smak about their attendance this season, but it's always tied to games on Mon-Thur and/or against teams not in contention.

They'll sell out any postseason game scheduled and it's also likely they will reopen seats that this year were blocked off due having small sight line problems created by being so high up and the catwalks. This will raise capacity from about 36.5K back up to about 44K.

B'man--Separate issue, but are you going in on Fantasy Hockey? WW has you down as a potential owner, just need to confirm. See hockey forum.

Just a quick heads-up to 'ya.

Forget that...I just saw your post passing on it. Cheers!

Cool....looks like Game One will not be until Wednesday afternoon if Rays win division, so SheBar a likely attendee for Game 2

She would have been unable to attend Wednesday.

Rays will open playoffs Thursday
Posted By Marc Lancaster at Sep 27, 2008 at 01:24 AM

DETROIT—The first playoff game in Rays history will be played Thursday at Tropicana Field.
The Angels clinched the best record in baseball with the Rays’ loss Friday, giving them the choice of whether to open their Division Series against the Red Sox on Wednesday or Thursday. They went for the first day, giving them an extra day off before Game 2. That means the Rays will face either the Twins or White Sox at the Trop on Thursday and Friday before heading out on the road for Games 3 and 4.
Start times are still to be determined and will be announced in the coming days once all the playoff spots are finalized.
The Thursday start means the Rays will need to use four starting pitchers for the Division Series. The Rays haven’t revealed how they’ll lineup their starters yet, but you can expect them to take it easy with Matt Garza on Saturday and limit James Shields to only a couple of innings Sunday.

There's several clips and I didn't see any "leaving the tunnel" shots

Put your mouse on the right clip and tell me what it says, so I make sure and play the right one.

Both games already sold out

Check out secondary sellers

If you go to tampabayrays.com you can register to be in the drawing for Game 6/7 tickets, which I presume would go on sale next Monday morning at 9am

If you're selected, you'll receive an email about a day ahead and will have just a few hours to buy online.
