betjamaica withdrawl

WWhat the hell is going on with betjam?? I requested $2000 last night by using their special method and figured they will proccess it this morning so I can go withdraw my money. However, they cancelled my request and said this method is not available today. So I contacted the customer service rep and the lady said it no longer available today. So I told her that I requested my withdraw last night around 2:30am so if they proccess some today, mine should have been first one. And all she said was sorry but it's not available. So later on, I decided to call them again to request one by using MG since it's not safe to keep large amount in any offshore nowadays. I withdraw maximum amount which is $1500 and they said fee will be $105 and some change. I was like that much for fee?? it should to be around $50 for fee. So I decided not to use MG option and asked her when that speacial method will be available again. and her respond was maybe monday and there is possibility it might not be available on monday. After about 30 min later, I just decided to pay the high fee so I called them back. And now, they are saying the fee to withdraw $1500 is $120.19. I explained to customer service rep how previous rep told me the fee will be $105 and some change. And she said the previous rep did not know what she was talking about because they have chart from their proccessor and it says fee is $120.19 for $1500 withdraw.... so I ended up just request one anyways since I am paying the fee with their money anyways(since I won) but still this is ridiculous.... never expected this to come from betjamaica who I once thought it's one of the best offshore books

My advice is to call Scotty 1-800-329-2640 and explain your dillemma. I am sure he will be straight with you and assist you obtain your withdrawal ASAP.

yes you can. But it's too much hassle for me. you have to wait 1-3 days to receive your check(which isn't too bad) and once I deposit a check, bank put a hold for at least 5 days. and there is always a chance check might bounce.

hey Wil, when you first told me to contact Scotty before, he was really nice and really helped me out. But for some reason, after that 1st time when I call him, he wasn't really that helpful. I think I know exactly what he's going to say if I call him right now and I think it's just better off not calling him....

Being totally honest (I speak to Scotty often) BetJamaica is as financially strong as ever. The occasional problem is related to a single withdrawal method that is logistically difficult to keep operating 24/7 year round. There are no problems getting paid by BetJamaica if you unless you need the money to pay your rent or get evicted that same day. In other words plan your withdrawals and allow a few days for the withdrawal to be processed.

Another problem is one that dcspride has, instead of emailing me, or calling Scotty or calling BJM CSD he posts his problem here on this forum causing rational players like yourself to have doubts about a solid book like BetJamaica.


Had he emailed me, I would already be on the phone with Scotty trying to work out a solution for him to get his $2,000.

Dcspride, you are probably right now that I think about the last time you had a brief delay at BeJamiaca.

To all BetJamaica players who use their instant withdrawal method:

There are going to be times when the system goes down for a day or several days and there is no way to forsee when those occasions will occur. No one is happy about it but like WSEX - BetJamaica is not going to stiff anyone anytime in the forseeable future. I only wrote it that way because I don't want to say EVER instead of forseeable future when dealing with this business, we all know anything is possible, however unlikely.

Right now I have 100% confidence in BetJamaica when it comes to getting paid.

Thank you for the honest response. I withdrew money from their about 3 weeks ago via check and had no problems as the bank called and verified funds.

I apologize if I overreacted, that was not my intent. I have not encountered any problems with them or another book I use, but sometimes people post certain things and it sends up a red flag.

hey Wil, the reason why I didn't email you is because I don't think they gonna be able to do anything as far as getting me payout by using their "special method" when their csr already told me that card option is not available today. and also, another problem I had today is after paying them high fee for MG payout, I called them at around 3:15 to see if reference number is available. CSR told me it is available and she was going to give it to me but I didn't had a pen at the time so i told her I will call them back. When I called them back, I was talking to different CSR and she was giving me an attitude because I called them before 4:00 to get my reference number. She said she can't give it to me even though it's available since it's not 4:00 yet. So I called back at 4:00 and got the reference number and I went to pick it up right away to walmart. When I got there, I found out reference number, amount, and sender's name all matches except my name. Walmart CSR told me receiver's name is not even close to mine and she can not give me the money. So I called back to Betjamaica to have them fix it and they told me to give them a call in about 30 min. I gave them a call hour later and she said they need more time since they just request to change the receiver's name to my name. So had to wait another 30min to pick up my money. Don't you think this was bit ridiculous Wil?? shouldn't be this hard to pick up MG payout.

I have the same issue with them in recent weeks - except that there were times when I did really need the money. The days of assuming you can get your money same day are OVER plain and simple. then if you're really desperate you win up paying significant fees to get your money. I even requested a western union from them and had to wait an extra day and they still charged me like 80 bucks for 800.

What topped it off for me last night was when I deposited a new allaccess travel card which carries a fee of 12.95. The rep didnt beleive me and would only credit 9.95 - they wanted me to FAX the proof for the extra 3.00. I told her to get lost - by the time I drive to Kinkos and pay the fee to fax the receipt it would cost me at least 3 anyways. All this after I have been a consistent losing customer to them.

Something doesnt seem right there in my mind, maybe not that they will stiff you but they definitely dont have the same level of customer service they used to. I told that clerk last night that they will have lost me as a customer as its insulting to get accused of lying over 3 bucks given thousands upon thousands of action there. Its time for me to go on a good run there and then run for the hills. I actually rec'd better cust service with a local.

expensive hobby. BJ is THE best @ paying off customers period. FREE once a mo., req. Mon A.M., rec. Tues A.M, at least 5 times in a row. 24 hrs is amazing in these times we're in. Gaming w/rent $$ etc. is crazy. As Wil said PLAN!!! Their checks never, and I mean NEVER bounce. If one ever does I'll quit playing anywhere. BOL hope you get your $$, no, I KNOW you'll get it. Scotty & Shayla are the best. Just be cool. Scotty how about a FP for that?:missingte

^agreed..... and in general, dont you notice how easy, prompt, nice and friendly books are regarding deposits compared to withdrawls? just a fact of life boys.

I spoke to Scotty too and the same story with me. Scotty seems like a straight up dude but money talks and bullshit walks. I'm not going into our convo but it's discouraging seeing posters post the same issues I'm having.

On a side note, Wil, I know you were trying to help but I don't appreciate you giving out my personal and account info to a book without checking with me first. The Rx has been accused of doing this before and this is the second time this has happened to me since I've been a member here. I thought our poster information was private? Locking my account for just posting my experience/frustration with a book is not cool.
