The 4-3 shootout loss at the St. Pete Times Forum indeed was frustrating. It was new coach Rick Tocchet's second straight shootout loss and pushed the team's streak without a victory to 0-3-2.
But Tampa Bay (5-7-6) deserved better.
"There were so many good things," Tocchet said.

Carter scored twice in a third period to take the NHL goal lead, and Richards had two goals and an assist in the Philadelphia Flyers’ 6-1 victory over the Tampa Bay Lightning on Friday night.
