I am not sure what is going on, but I am picking winners in the NFL so far this year. Somebody should do a gravity check. Last year was the first winning season I had in the NFL in a long time and I cannot ever remember me winning back to back seasons. Just waiting for the losing streak to start. How is that for confidence?

NFL WEEK FIVE

Philadelphia -6 vs. Washington (best bet)…………….Washington wins in Dallas last week while the Eagles lose to Chicago and now the skins are getting six. Come on! You are never as good or as bad as your last game. Skins are going to come down to earth this week and we will see the Eagle team at home that we saw against the Steelers a couple of weeks ago.

Denver -3 vs. Tampa Bay (best bet)……………..A couple of surprise records with these two teams. Big difference is it is harder to keep up surprising everybody on the road and that is what Tampa Bay is on this week. I get the feeling there is something special about Denver this year and I don’t think they are going to lose many games at home either. I look for Denver to put a lot of points on the board this week while Tampa Bays offense returns to its more normal low scoring self. I just feel Denver at home only laying three is a sweet deal and I am on it. This line is this low because of the hurting a bad KC team put on the broncos last week.

Arizona -1 vs. Buffalo (strong play)………….When this line first came out and really liked Arizona and I still do, but I am shocked at how many people are on it as well. Buffalo is not going to keep this up especially on the road. Arizona plays much better at home and the Bills are due to fall on their faces. I think this week it happens.

Carolina -9.5 vs. Kansas City (strong play)……………Wow! Maybe KC does not suck as bad as everybody thought. Don’t be ridiculous….of course they do. Carolina is one of my “bet on” teams this year and they are going to pound KC this week. That was a fluke KC beating Denver like they did last week. There is a reason this line is this high after a showing like that. Panther are going to pound the Chiefs in this one.

Colts -3 vs. Houston (regular play)………………..Houston just does not have the offense to keep with a Colts offense that is due to explode. Cannot picture the colts going to only 1-3 either.

New England -3 vs. San Fran (regular play)…………….As much as we would all like to think the Pats are done for the year, it is just not the case. I still think they will win their division because it is so weak and they had a week off to think about what Miami did to them. I think we will see a different, hungry Patriots team this time around. Nothing special about the 49ers either.

Cincinnati +17.5 vs. Dallas (regular play)……………More than likely the Boys will destroy the Bengals in this one and they should be able to name the score, but I will take any NFL team and 17.5 points. That is the only reason I am betting this one.

Miami +6.5 vs. San Diego (regular play)………….Only reason I am taking this one is I am a Miami fan and I am betting with my heart, even though I know better. I still think Miami is much better than people realize. They lost a lot of close games last year and San Diego has been known to play to the level of their competition. Chance of a blowout by the Chargers, but I will try my luck.

SUNDAY NIGHT GAME

Pittsburgh +4 vs. Jacksonville (regular play)…………..Not in love with this one, but sometimes when a team is hurting as bad as the Steelers are everybody plays against them and somehow they cover. Jacksonville tough at home, but I have a strange feeling the Steelers win this game. Most people might go against the Steelers thinking “kick them while they are down”, but that does not always work. Steelers either get murdered or win this game outright. It think they shock everybody and win this game outright.

MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL

New Orleans -3 vs. Minnesota (best bet)…………..I normally wait to bet the Monday Night game until Monday to see what my financial situation is like, but I don’t want to risk this line going to 3 ½. New Orleans is another one of my bet on teams this year too. This line is just too low for being at New Orleans, it is that simple. I really think it should be 6 to 7 points, so I am jumping all over it now at three as a best bet. I normally don’t have best bets on Monday Night Football but this one I will. I have been saying it since week one and I will say it again……something just does not seem right with Minnesota this year. They should be much better than they are, but for some reason they are not. Strong gut feeling New Orleans plays a great game and wins this one surprisingly easily.

Be careful if you are one to follow my nfl picks. I know I am not as good as what I have shown this year and I am due to fall flat on my face. Maybe I am winning because I know when you brag that is the kiss of death, so I trash myself instead. Lets see what happens.

Good Luck Everybody!!

Nice work so far. I look at some overs with the great Nfc east games too. I got a few of your sides plus overs in Phil, Dall, NYG.

7-1-1 so far with New Orleans as a best bet left for the week. Will I stay hot and win or am I due to lose? Wish I knew the answer to that. Lets go Saints. Either way I will have another winning week in the NFL which is great and unusual for me.
