I know the value is pretty good in this spot considering Sabathia is on 3 days rest once again. But seriously people, did anybody see the game yesterday? I was on Philly and glad to see them win, but had that Cameron error not happened the game probably would've been a different story. 4 hits. 4? Wow. Anybody else on the mound not named Cole Hamels and they lose that game.

No way Sabathia loses today after seeing such an awful performance at the plate.

I disagree

Did you hear what The Brewers head coach said about that play when interviewed during the game. He said that ball was crushed and if it wasn't for the wind blowing in that it would have been over the fence. Cameron was lucky to even be a close to the ball as he was, let alone catch it.
The Phillies should have left Hamels pitch that last inning, because maybe he shuts down the next 3 hitters and the score ends up 3-0.

By the way Myers has pitched just as well as CC, in the second half, posting a 1.80 ERA in 11 starts -- and dominated. He also has a 1.77 ERA in eight career appearances against the Brewers.

Meh, Cameron took a bad route to that ball, bottom line...not an easy play with strong winds, but still a bad route...

the fact that Utley even batted in the inning was due to the Weeks error.

regardless, the Brewers struck out 12 times.....not many teams win when that happens.

But CC is a horse and I am not sold on Meyers. IMO, he's reverting back to to what got him sent to the minors to begin with. CC is a
thoroughbred.

I've played baseball for 15 years in every kind of weather imaginable. A scorched line drive like that to center will knuckle, no doubt. Add in the wind and it makes it tough. But this is a major league outfielder. He dropped that ball and there's no excuse for it.

It was a line drive that wasn't even close to the warning track, it was never going to be a HR. The Brewer defense giftwrapped that inning for the Phils, first with Hall's bobble of Hamels's bunt which could prevented the double play, then Weeks dropping the throw to first. Utley should have never batted in that inning, plus Cameron makes that play at least 8 out of 10 times.

Played College/Semi-Professional ball, ball hits your glove and you don't catch it, it's an error, fuck the wind.

Woody--

Where did you get those numbers on Myers? According to what I've seen he's given up 14 ER in his last 8.1 innings of work
