No real stats and such, just a gut feel here that I am only playing due to the Sox being the dog against an untested Rays team in the post season.

It does make a difference. Ask the Angels and Cubs , who just don't seem to have the know how to get the W's in the post season. Again i'm just taking a chance here and going with my gut.

what about over? Rays have no problem scoring...and Javy has sucked recently....and I think Sox line up coming around, too...I see great value here....

Yeah but we don't know how the Rays will respond in today's postseason game. We knew from previous series how the Cubs and Angels were apt to perform.
Anyway on your point, I don't believe this thinking has or will have any bearing on today's outcome. If that's the case, I would just as soon go with the home team (TB) to even up the first four games, with a pair of home victories and a pair of visiting wins.

i really like chi as well. they got their swagger right now, only a question if the hitting can keep up with their pitching.

The under is the best play here imo. There is some small value on the Sox with the Rays playing their first playoff game, but the Rays might have the best team in the AL. Inexperience might be the only thing I can think of that would cause the Rays to lose this series to the Sox.

Well the over is on target, shit 1st 5 over went through like a breeze with the game on pace to do the same.
