Heads up on Fund withdraw bank drafts

I thought i share this experience with you...when making a recent withdraw from a well-known book...i get a bank draft from canadian bank to US bank....when making a deposit to my bank...they will put a hold up to 6 weeks to a third party for collection...and they will charge another $25 fee...

Is this fucked up or what??? Take 2 weeks to receive the check and up to 6 weeks to see money in the bank...I am looking at 2 months before i can see my cash....

If your book has bank wire or WU...better go with that route...and say "NO" to bank draft from overseas....

Went yesterday to make a deposit, had a Canadian check from a poker site...mixed it in with about a dozen other checks...Teller looked through all the checks and pulled that one out and layed it to the side. She then asked for my i.d.....i.d. for a deposit i asked??? yes , new rules for overseas checks. she then took my livense and the check and photo copied them both together...The entire deposit is now showing "pending" in my account and they have already charged me a $25 processing fee........
