money line Pitt was too steep. but was - unfortunately - the safe play considering outcome.

Not too fond of the ex simpleton that used to coach the Habs. Apparently, he still can't teach third and fourth line forwards to cycle down. Nonetheless, half-decent coach on banged up Pitt crew.

It's a long season, so a good start is important. Besides, November and December can be brutal.

Edmonton at Anaheim

Tough match up next against San Jose. Better grab home victory here, or things will get a lot worst.

Phoenix at Chicago

Phoenix last played on Sunday at Ducks, travel east to Chicago with plenty of rest. Neither of these with defenses that deserve respect.
