Having to answer questions from some EXTREMELY IGNORANT voters, John McCain had to defend Obama's character and citizenship as a person.

Voter: "We need a strong president. Were scared. Were scared that if Obama is president we could have a terrorist in the White House."

McCain: "Obama is not a terrorist. He is a good family man. He is somebody of whom I disagree with. He would make a fine President of The United States of whom America should not be afraid of."

Voter(Middle Aged White Lady): "I'm can't trust Obama. I have read about him. because..he's....he's and Arab"

McCain "No. no ma'am...He's a decent family man."

Desperation on McCain's part. He's getting hammerred in the polls and the futures, with his nonsense that only kook fanatics care about with Ayers, etc. So he's doing what he should have done when it started, reudiating it. If this now works, he'll continue it. If it doesn't, he'll go right back to the kook wingnut stuff. McCain sold his soul, and he has none left. Sad what happenned to the 2000 McCain.

Mccain is a complete doofus. He should have said what he said waydifferently. Now if they continue the attacks along the same line, it will look phony (more so than it was before)

He should have said 'we never said he was a terrorist but a man with judgement not good enough to be Prez'.

i think that's the real john mcCain. i doubt that he truly relates to the neo-con nut jobs that show up at his events. he made a horrible mistake selling himself out to get their support. i respect what obama has accomplished but the mcCain of 2000 would probably be up in the polls right now.

The problem is the Republican party has been hijacked by these religious fanatic wingnuts, and they would never nominate the 2000 McCain. He saw that, so he sold out. Now he's reaping what he sowed, and deep down, if there's anything left of the decent McCain, it probably disgusts him. But it's too late. I think the problem is that now the moderate dems have either given up or are moving towards Obama, so what McCain is now getting at these rallys are very angry racists that just can't live with the fact that their good ol country will be run by a black man with an arab name.

A recent poll showed that 11 percent of americans think that Obama is a muslim. It is just amazing that Obama is so far ahead in the pollind despite the fact that so many americans think he is a muslim.
