Look at this roster...i see about 2 maybe 3 guys who could even be 3rd string on any other team and not a real starter in the bunch..

Huh? You don't see a starter in the bunch? Durant and Green aren't starters?

You do realize that you just said that Desmond Mason isn't a starter and is 3rd string at best as well? They're not good, but you're going overboard a little.

I have not heard a more ridiculous statement than the one you just made in quite some time.

Even though they stole that team from our city (with the help of our oh so kind politicians), even I don't hold enough hate for the team. They are a group of quality young players, some way more than others. They should end up with around the same record as they achieved last season here in Seattle, or possibly even a few games better - you never know!

To say Durant, Green, Wilcox, Westbrook, and Desmond Mason are 3rd stringers is laughable. You obviously do not pay much attention to the NBA, so there is no need to bring out the evidence that proves the case! :missingte

I know they(Thunder) will be mediocre, but the home crowd will be off the charts! PJ is experimenting(rotations) in pre-season, and half the roster has been hurt. I will get to "know" this team(just like the Hornets) very well. :103631605

well they defiantly dont have any for sure all stars but someone could have a break out season or they can all just play really well together. basketball doesnt always need 1 or 2 superstars to have a good team but it sure does help if u got em. i dont think the thunder will be last this year but pretty sure they will be close to it. dont count on them making the playoffs

Watch for PJ to lose his job at some point during this season. He was only brought in to make the team into a lame duck. Guarantee he is out by the end of the season, though.

Memphis should be the worst team in the league this year.

I think this year more than ever goes to show the need to downsize the amount of teams in this league. Piss poor teams like Thunder, Grizz, clippers, wolves, and nets are not worth a penny to watch at the arenas.

hopefully not the shame hashish that you're using. Lol, giving props to scrubs like wilcox and collison that would be riding bench on other teams.

I don't see any chemistry on that Clippers roster. Camby will more than likely get hurt with his back and sit out parts of the season. Gordon will be raw and foolish, and Baron will be ballhogging and having a negative impact on Thornton. I think Thornton is an awesome player, but there are too many negative personalities on this squad like camby, ricky davis, and baron at times. I think this team will implode or turn against Dunleavy if they don't get a good start.

As for the Nets, they need Vince Carter to be a leader and he is absolutely not leadership material. When NJ needed him most, he withered away just like he did in Toronto. Harris is decent, but the rest of the roster has rookies and bench players. They aren't going anywhere this season but the cellar.

Record goes to 1-12 :nohead:

11-21-08:

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP)—Byron Scott got to eat at his favorite restaurant, visit with his daughter and take a trip down Memory Lane in the city where his team started heading back in the right direction.
As it turns out, a return to Oklahoma City might have been just what his New Orleans Hornets needed.
David West scored 19 points, Chris Paul added 17 in the city where his NBA career began and the Hornets had a triumphant return to Oklahoma City on Friday night with a 105-80 victory over the Thunder.

it must've been the right shit because all these teams are woeful. Nets will definitely tarnish that record after a couple of weeks.
