jeff, I'll retire from handicapping when you retire from Wilco, lol.

Football forum life here at therx & theprescription has been a huge part of my life over the years. After handicapping the NFL successfully for so many consecutive seasons, it's hard to deny the +EV edge I'm providing with my lines. The way the economy is going, every bit of extra income matters, so I got's to do what I got's to do! I can be googled (The Sports Cruncher) for anyone interested in what I'll be doing. I'm still going to be here weighing in with comments and opinions, but will be bulk posting my plays at kickoff.

Adding for 1 Unit:

Broncos +3.5

The Patriots favored against a team with a winning record, really?

Just missed getting down on STL +11 with the news that Romo has a broken finger and is out for a month. The game was taken off the board right in front of my eyes, lol

1 Unit:

DEN/NE Over 46

My line right now is 51. It's a MNF game as well, so this line should definitely see some upwards movement before game time.

Preussen, still on the coast, will see what I can dig up when I get back home. I actually tried to search the forum a little while back for my "End of Year" posts that had my final tallys for the year, but have only been able to find access back through some point of last season. Previously, you could access posts back many years, so I had had links to my end of year results in prior years.

Boy, I wasn't so hot in Week 6 - I get to .500 with a Cleveland cover tonight - haha - maybe I'll get 4 fumble recoveries like St. Louis did, and win with under 150 yards passing - this football stuff, angular balls make the game that much tougher I reckon.

Anyway, as always, good luck Crunch, and I hope you continue to make a bunch of people money while making your self a little more cash. One of the good guys in the business, I only wish you the best.

For some reason Shanahan really has Belichick's number as he is 4-1 vs. the Pats since 2001.

TEN/KC has settled back down to 35, while BAL/MIA has jumped a full 2 points to 36.5. GB/IND has come down a full point, NO/CAR up a half point. DEN quickly came down to +3 (super soft opener at +3.5) while the total has gone up a half point. Business as usual, lol.

Juice starting to go up on NO, but down on MIN. I think in my haste to get the action in I thought that Minny was getting 3 at home, which is why I pulled the trigger pretty quick when I saw that my line was near a pick. The game is in Chicago, so the Bears have been getting the money so far on the field goal number. If you can wait and get Minny at +3.5, that would be a great deal. Minny really didn't turn their yards into points yesterday, while putting up another pretty solid defensive game. Their defense is definitely showing improvement this year -- they should be right there challenging for the win in this upcoming game.

Adding for 1 Unit:

TEN -0.5/HOU -2.5 Teaser (-120)

Stiff juice to get 6.5 points, but I have both teams winning by double digits, so I think it's worth it.

1 Unit:

KCo23.5/BAL+14.5/MIN+15/DEN+15

Not a good week for the Monsters and Sweethearts last week, first time they all found something ugly to lose with this year, lol. Didn't love the plays to begin with, so only had 2 Units total spread around on them. 2nd time this year a Monster has lost with 3 wins and one push, with MIN -2 doing the damage this week.

This will be my only Monster for the week, a 12 pointer at even juice from 5dimes.

Good Luck with your new venture. You're always one of the cappers I check before I play a game. You will be missed.

1 quick question before you depart. How do you determine the "Value" % on sides and totals. I've tried to follow you're math but can't figure that out. Or is that the "Ancient Chinese Secret". Thanks and good luck again.

I'm fairly new to the forum but always respect creative and solid handicapping. You, sir, fit that definition.

Best of luck to you going forward.
