The Rx.com is happy to announce an upgrade to it's VBulletin Software Package scheduled to take place at approximately 11AM EDT on Tuesday Oct. 14th.. The upgrade will cause the forum to be down at least an hour but should bring some significant inprovements to the day to day performance of the site.
I will post any new additions that will be made available to posters when I am informed they are actually installed and operating. Rx Mods are hoping to be able to place threads on a type of Post Review for contest purposes. This will eliminate the need for posters to email selections in at the end of contests, they can just post them and a moderator can release them once the game or games involved begin. The time of the post will be the actual time that the poster made the post not the time the mod released it from Post Review. Hopefully the quick post box will be restord to normal size.
I will know more tomorrow about any imediate changes that will effect the way posters interact with the forum software.
Hopefully the down time will not be much more than an hour but I want to let posters know that we will be offline for however long it takes while the new upgrade is installed.
