If Texas & Bama win out, we're going to have to put Timely Hitting on suicide watch.

What do Alabama, Texas , Oregon st, Mississippi, and Okla St all have in common? They all have a total of one win each over what is percieved to be a top ten team. Most teams have played about half of the schedule but the vast majority of those games were against the non-conference "little sisters of the poor". We will get a much better understanding of who is for "real" and who was just a "one game" wonder over the next 3 weeks.

and what usc schedule? a total joke.

I have no idea how good USC is but I will give them credit for at least scheduling a nonconference game against a team that is typically ranked in the top 10. Can't say the same for FLA, OKLA, Missouri, Okyst, Penn St,LSU and Texas this year: although in years past Texas has scheduled at least one decent non-conference game.

And if the Road Warrior says it, it must be true..

Bama has 5 very loseable games the rest of the way. at the vols, at LSU, miss st, and auburn. Then of course the SEC championship game.

While penn st has to play at OSU the rest of their schedule is much easier than BAMAs.

Have to agree here. Penn State looks very much to be in the catbird seat to play in the BCS Championship game. Their opponent looks to be up for grabs.

Papa Joe doesn't lose too many bowl games . You don't give him a month to prepare for a team. The players will win Joe's final game as a coach. His health is failing and this will be his last year.
