i've been here a few years, and i've seen good posters come and go. what always happens is that a poster gets hot, then real popular. then the children on this site get jealous, even though they never contiribute. next thing u know, the good poster gets flamed and the children eventually force the good poster to leave the site. this just happened with big bookie, but over the years dozens of posters have left for the same reason.
in the future i think the mods should pay close attention to the hot posters threads, to try to control the rif raf that would drive any reasonable person off the site(all the horrible offensive attacks that they must endure just to post winners) the mainstream here would prefer the children with nothing to contribute here to get thrown out, rather than classy excellent posters(big bookie) getting eliminated, so they don't have to withstand a barrage of personal, offensive attacks on their character.
i have been real hot of late, using a combo of info from bb, plus solid capping, and now one of the bullets in my chamber have been taken from me by the dickheads who contribute nothing but ultimately control this sitehno:

maybe the hot posters need the protection of the tracker forum, so nobody can flame them, wdyt??

Doc..this is what I was going to post as well...The tracker forum is a good place to post with out shit being flung around.

For The Record

BigBookie left on his own. He is still a registered poster but decided to post elsewhere. We have a report a post icon in every post box (triangle icon at bottom left of post box) that anyone can use if they are being insulted or bashed by another poster.

The Tracker Forum is available for cappers who just want to post their selections and not be bothered by other posters.

Exactly....I've never posted in a BB thread & actually tailed a few of his 'needed' plays in the past. That being said.....there's nothing dumber than the "I'm outta here" thread. Attention whoring at it's finest.

I thought the reason for all the different forums ,hockey,bases,foots,ect.ect. is so you dont have to siff though all the threads. If everybody put there plays in the tracking forum ,that forum would be a mess!

Posters use different threads for different sports.

If the need be we could create a football Tracker Forum and a separate basketball Tracker Forum for example.

i do agree that those that "take their ball and leave" are acting out, but sometimes it's hard to avoid being "swept up" in all the bs that is flung around. i'd sure like to know bb's needs, though cuz i was making $ using the info, among other capping techniques.

not that i would ever leave the rx, but he's not on the most popular posting sites i know of. can anyone post his picks here? or tip us off?i like $ that much, you guys can understand, can't you?:smoker2:

On a site with this much traffic (6,000) online users right now you are bound to get some bad apples which is why I am aways encouraging posters to use the report a post icon.

I agree in part with what Doc said, there is a lot of jealousy involved and some come to do nothing but start trouble and pine for attention. That's their way of trying to impress others and fit in. Overall though the RX does a good job of "protecting" their posters. I mean seriously, if you can't handle a little heat maybe you should be watching Dawson Creek with your wife instead of posting on a gambling forum. They ran the bad apples but you are still going to get questioned, challenged and called out from time to time, goes with the territory in these kind of places.
