I can barely fit into my size 42 pants. I'm almost at 300 lbs and I'm only 25. :ohno: Anybody know of any good diets or pills. Pills would be good since I don't like doing work like excercising. :nono5: But if I have to then I will. :ohno: I think I need to cut down on my coke drinking. I drink about 3-4 liters daily. :drink:

Try Xenical or Phenterimine...also Alli... if u have insurance plans look into Gastric lapband.. a lot of insurance companies pay for it free of charge if u have a bmi of 40 or higeher..

u can also cut down on calories..mycaloriecounter.com switch to diet on the soda or mix half and half if you cant quit fully..
check into excercise too..

weight loss is a basic equation. eat less, do more.

a couple of easy things you can do are quit the 5000 calories a day from the soda. no diet soda either. drink water. 3 liters of water. everytime you go to the kitchen drink a glass of water. cut down on the bread too.
wake up and go out and walk for 10 minutes, turn around and walk home. that 20 minutes of exercise will do much more than you think.. these couple of little easy things will make you lose weight quickly. weigh yourself after your walk every morning and see the progress. this will spur you on to walk a little more each day. you can do it man.

no need to cut down on your coke drinking. increase your coke intake by smoking, snorting or ingesting and you will get the results you want.

Some very good points.

On the walking, walk at a brisk pace, no leisure stolls like you are 90.

Run 4 laps then eat a 150 calorie cookie. Then for each 2 litter of Pepsi you drink run 4.5 miles. You realize it isn't worth over the long run.

dont ever take pills. pills will fuck you up. pills and supplements are evil. they will work while ur on them but it will turn your body dependend on them. most pills/supplements work by increasing the metabolism and suppressing your diet.

however, once you go off pill you will end up gaining lot more because your body will become dependend on them.

best way to lose weight is by healhty eating and excercising. dont stop eating. eat a lot. but eat small healthy portions throughout the day. this will increase your metabolism. eating 5 to 7 small portions through the day is much better than overloaded 3 portions per day.

to start off, i would say go wholegrain/whole wheat on everything, eliminate pop/soda/or any sugary stuff from your diet. eliminate junk food such as mcdicks, kfc, pizza etc.

lean meat (chicken breast is the best)/fish (salmon/tuna etc)
watch the carbs. dont unload on carbs. should be well balanced meal with lot of vegies, protien and whole grains. after the meal drink a full glass of water....that will take care of you wanting to stuff your stomach with looads of food. STOP EATING OUTSIDE. PREPARE YOUR FOOD. RESTAURANTS FOODS ARE LOADED WITH FAT EVEN IF THEY ARE NOT FROM JUNK FOOD CHAINS.

run or do other cardio 4 times a week. and do some weights 3 times a week.

do this good and you will lose 20 pounds with in the 1st month and a half.

25 years old and your that fat listen kid you come to south boston and visit me and my pal johnny knockdown at the irish social club and i will gaurentee you within a week you will lose weight.all you have to do is stand up straight and let johnny knockdown punch you in the stomach for an hour a day.he was the golden gloves champion back in 1983 and likes to work out.romer i might even take a couple of swings at you myself.this is the best way to lose weight and the good news is its free.

What you see above is some of the best advice you will ever get romo there's no miracle cures and no overnight success stories that will get you where you want to be aside from what you read in this post. You may want to try one of the diets like south beach or nutrisystem where they stress frequent balanced meals to get started and give you some ideas about lifelong maintenance. There is no easy way out here and no quick fixes, your headed towards a life of misery and discontent If you keep on the path your on now you and can expect to be a diabetes candidate with major heart problems.

To get started why not dump that cola fix your on and replace it with water as someone mentioned, liquid empty calories are killing you man. There's also a health forum here at the rx check it out but most importantly get started today, make today the first day of the rest of your life.

I have lost 30+ lbs 3 times in the past 15 years and I am not a big guy. Not that hard. Just count your calories, under 1,500 a day everyday, no cheating (cant stress that enough), never cheat for 12 weeks and you will drop major weight. If you dont want to count calories, try nutri system, I know 2 guys who have lost a ton of weight on this diet.

romer, its great you're wanting to take action. life is so much better for me since i've lost weight. it just makes me feel much better physically and mentally.

one thing i would suggest is to not do anything too drastic to start. many people start with these crazy diets right off the bat and these intense workout routines. these are great but they usually don't last very long.

i would suggest starting out by cutting the soda completely from your diet. 3-4 liters everyday is a lot of bad calories. also start going for a brisk walk in the evenings 3-4 times a week.

after you get into the habit of exercising it becomes so much easier to do and it becomes part of your regular schedule. you'll notice after you're in the habit your metabolism will have sped up.

I am in the same boat. About 245 lbs at 6'4" but still about 40 lbs more than I'd like. Working too many damn hours, chasing two kids around and trying to keep a marriage working. I always have a damn excuse and that has to stop and I must get off my lazy ass.

not saying this is the way to go but you can lose 40lbs with little or no exercise at all. It's all about what you eat.

Decent advice so far

You've GOT to get off the coke. If you are seriously drinking that kind of quantity, you're in the express lane to diabetes(among other problems with stuffing your body with that much sugar & shit calories). Try ice tea with no sugar, that would be one hell of a start.

Most traditional diet pills are basically speed. They'll kick your metabolism up, but they may also make you nervous, edgy & unable to concentrate for any amount of time. I've tried a couple kinds of them in the past, and it seems that the better they work, the shittier you feel. They aren't the solution.

Nobody should be pushing 300lbs at 25. I'd really suggest going the doctor route & seeing what ideas he has. Don't be surprised when he tells you that you're looking at being dead by 40 at your current pace.

That's the blunt truth-and it's shitty.
