Do The Phillies Appear To Be Content Heading Home Tied?

Just wondering if it's me or do the Philadelphia Phillies appear to be satisfied with the fact that they won game one last night and will be heading home with the series tied at one game apiece. They look relatively listless tonight, particularly at the plate in my opinion. Heck if the Philly batters were able to come through at the plate as often as their teammates did but were left stranded on base after getting a hit, the Rays would be fighting from behind tonight as opposed to the visiting club. An absolutely terrible display of hitting by Philadelphia tonight in the clutch.

I was on the over and can't believe how many guys have been left on base.

So far this has got to be one of the most boring World Series I've ever watched. It's just boring. I don't know what else to say.

what do you want from them? its big enough to steal atleast 1 game on the road and basicly eliminate the home feild advantage...especially against the team with the best home record in all of baseball... they got out played, its a game, and that happens, id be happy to be tied 1-1 rather than 0-2 i mean its common logic.

your just mad you got on em a day late, and the other dude is bored cause he lost his over.

Obviously you can't be serious, can you? There have been NONE, I mean ZERO, lead changes in the series so far. There has not been one dramatic home run, stolen base, significant game changing event. Fuck my over or under, the series itself is boring to this point. I'm sure that can all change in the course of a seven game series but this has been one dud of a fireworks show.

yes i am actually dead serious, listen if you want a fireworks show then head south of the border and buy some bottle rockets.

this is the world SERIES, key word being SERIES. its not who hits the most homers, steals the most bags, or does the most backflips. its who wins teh best outta 7 games.

if you are the team on the short end of the stick on home field advantage in any series all you can hope for is to steal atleast 1 game on the road, and like i said against the best home team in the entire league, thats enough to be content with heading back to philly for a 3 game set.

give credit to shields instead of shitting on the phils.
