My vote is for the Houston Rockets. They have a great mix of scoring and defense that the stuff of championships is made of. Artest puts this team over the top. Like him or not but he's a guy who improves teams quite a bit and the Rockets were not far from the top last year despite massive injuries. This is their year.

I like Houston myself.....Artest is a great pick up

The key is McGrady staying healthy.....That guy never,ever plays a full
season.

I like the Raptors to be tough in the east

Jermaine O`Neal is a nice pick up for them....He`s another guy who
always gets hurt...If he stays healthy they can be tough

I think Toronto is going to be a power in the East as well. O'Neal and Bosh is scary down low and Calderon makes great decisions. Very complete team.

LA Lakers. Kobe will shot better FG % but take much less shots...

Bynum will have a breakout year. The young kids on the bench will play much better.

The fact that McGrady and Ming will likely be injured at some point this year are factored into both lines.

Rockets showed last year they can win without em. The level of experience on this team is actually a positive because of the injuries last year. I think they can survive if injuries happen again. Just my opinion.
