He is the worst commissoner ever! He just displayed it again last night! He luckily got bailed out by tampa scoring in the 6th. What would he have done if the world series would have ended on a shortened game? If the rays dont score there what would he have done? He should have called the in the 3rd when there was standing water! But he is an idiot and tried to let the game play on and it almost backfired!

After he fucked up on the whole steroid issue i was hoping this would be his final demise!

Cant wait for him to bow out like the coward he is....

selig said it would not have ended. it would have been it a rain delay for as long as it took, even days. he said all games will go 9 inninngs. so cut the guy some slack.

Selig isn't that bad. Not easy to make a tough choice like that, give the guy a break. No matter what he would have done in that situation people would have complained. imo he called it right, suspended the game and will resume on a later date. He wouldn't of called it if the Rays were losing because he said there is no way he would let a World Series game end like that.

Yeah, and he would have looked like the commissioner of the 1972 Olympics. You can't change rules on the fly. What if they had not have been able to finish the 4th inning? It would have had to be restarted at 0-0, because you can't suspend games that haven't gone 5 innings.

He is really an idiot, because he hasn't changed the postseason rules. All he would have to do is change them to state that all postseason games must go 9 innings, and all games that don't go 9 innings will be suspended, no matter what inning they are in. How hard would that be? Would anyone object to that? Of course not.
